The registration fee is $30 and includes admission into the science center. There is a maximum of 120 competitors for this competition. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required to compete. Walk-ins will not be permitted to compete and there will be no waitlist for this competition--once the competitor limit is reached, registration will be closed. Spectators will need to purchase tickets for admission to the science center. Ticket information is available at LSC's website, but tickets may be purchased on-site.

Food and drink may not be eaten in the Forum. Food and drink are permitted only in the cafeteria and dining area upstairs.

Liberty Science Center is easily accessible by driving or public transportation using the PATH and Hudson-Bergen Light Rail. You could also get to Liberty Science Center by taking the ferry from the World Financial Center in New York City to Liberty State Park.

If driving to Liberty Science Center, you will have to pay for parking. The fee for parking in the lot is $7.00 for the day.

We are accepting applications for staff.

To staff at this competition, you must complete the application.

Staff will be given a (busy) schedule to follow throughout the competition. Staff for this competition will be limited to approximately 30 applicants.

Your $30 registration fee will be refunded if your application is accepted, but you must register and pay for the competition to be eligible for the refund. Anyone who does not register for the competition will not be able to compete.

Benefits for staffing at this competition include waived registration fee and vouchers for lunch at the competition.

Live results are available on cubecomps throughout the competition.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
