The entrance fee for this competition will be: For competitors: €8 per day or €15 for the weekend. Competitors only registered for 3x3 get a €3 discount. There's a limit of 45 competitors.

4BLD & 5BLD can be done whenever you want, just find a judge and ask us for the scramble!
(time limit: 60min per solve & format will be Best of 3)

Zonhoven is easily reachable by car or public transportation.
Zonhoven is situated 85 km east of Brussels and 65 km west from Aachen, right by the E314 highway.
At the venue there is a very big parking, and it is free of charge.

There is one youth hostel in the neighbourhood (+/- 6km from the venue)

Traveling using public transport:

By Bus
You can take busses 22, 23, 48, or 18a to Zonhoven.
These busses pass by 2 major train stations in the neighbourhood, being Hasselt and Kiewit.
Although taking the bus from Hasselt station is recommended and it’s about a 20min bus ride from Hasselt to Zonhoven

By Train
Starting December, Zonhoven has a train station.

The N8W8 Summer 2016 is a Rubik's Cube competition organised by Geert Bicler and volunteers.
From questions or information please e-mail to Geert.
With this competition we hope to attract a lot of local cubers and give them a chance to compete.
We also warmly invite competitors who come from abroad to give this event an international flavour.

During the championship the official WCA regulations will be applied.
Results of the championship will be added to the official WCA World Rankings

Before the competition starts all competitors can practice on the official timing equipment: the Stackmat timer.
All puzzle brands may be used during the competition, as long as the puzzles comply with the WCA regulations.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
