Holding a successful competition requires decidated volunteers. For this competition, each round of an event has room for 2-6 scramblers, 12 judges, and 2-4 runners.

No experience is necessary for judging and running – we can teach you how to do these tasks if you are interested. This is a great opportunity for family members of competitors to be involved without competing.

If you are a high school student looking to obtain volunteer hours as a graduation requirement, you must volunteer for the entire competition in order for us to sign your volunter hour sheets.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
