If you do not sign up online, or do not pay the registration fee, you can register on the competiton day, but with a raised registration fee set to 100kr, and a maximum og 5 events. It is highly recommend to sign up online, as that it is way easier for us to handle.

It is not allowed to bring your own food into the venue, however there's a place where you can buy food really close by called resturant halvleg, about 20 meters away, there you can buy and eat your food, there are also some benches outside of the competition.

Her kan i se priser.

For people who are driving their children/siblings to the competition, then you can go into the pool right beside the competition, in the same building so you don't get bored :) Then the competiton room won't get to crowded either. It costs 30dkk for adults, and 15dkk if you're under 16.

Mvh Daniel Egdal

Hi all competitors for Vestegnen Open 2017. This is going to be the biggest competition in Denmark ever (not counting Euros 2014)! This unfortunately also means it might get a bit crowded inside the venue, so it would be nice if you could have some of your guests staying in the cafeteria just by the venue. There you can also buy food, and that is really important since the center has a deal with the cafeteria, that no one is allowed to bring food from elsewhere into the venue! They have threatened to kick people out for that! Also if your guest(s) are bored they could go swimming in the indoor swimming pool in the same building (30DKK for adults, 15DKK if you’re under 16)!
We have set some though cut-offs since we do not have that much time. Remember if you go over the “hard cut-off” you will be stopped! We hope this competition can run fast and smooth so we can add more rounds, however due to the higher competitor count, we do not expect that to happen. We are going to run the competition in a group system, so you will get called up as a group instead of by individuals, to save time. The groups have been done alphabetical, you can check which groups you are in here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8jMSWUrkzImY0xlRWoyLU1pNTliRmpYWXdyVVo2OGIwOGU4/view?usp=sharing
We will need some help to make the competition to run as smooth as possible, so we will need 12 judges at a time, and 2 “runners” at a time.
Before the competition all competitors must have read the WCA regulations! If you haven’t already you can read them here: https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/regulations/ we will also do a quick run through before we start the competition. Also remember as it says in the regulations, it is not allowed to smoke at a competition venue.
All new competitors must bring a valid ID for the delegate to verify their citizenship (ex. passport). If you fail to do so, you can get disqualified.
We have changed the schedule a bit, you can check the schedule under the competition here: https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/competitions/VestegnenOpen2017#1785-tidsskema-schedule We will start the next event, as soon as the previous event ends. But do not come into the venue until 8:05, unless you want to help set up the venue!
Remember under 3x3 blindfolded, there must be complete silence!
Looking forward to seeing all of you.
Best Regards, Daniel Egdal
