Competitor Requirements
This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors should be familiar with the WCA regulations. If you are new to competing, you may want to look at the WCA Competition Tutorial.

There is a competitor limit of 100 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $40 (Canadian Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 75% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 2 guests.

Guest Limit
Space is limited in the venue and our priority is allowing as many competitors as possible to compete within our limited venue space. There are many open spaces around the campus that can be used instead.
Competitors may bring at most two (2) guests. Competitors over the age of 18 are encouraged to come without a guest.
Competitor List
Registrants must pay the registration fee in order to be added to the competitor list. Organizers manually accept registrations one at a time in the order the registration fees are paid, so you may have to wait a while before your name could show up on the competitor list.
Once the competitor list reaches the 100 competitor limit, registrants who pay the registration fee will be added to the waiting list instead of the competitor list. Due to the competitor limit, completing your registration within the initial registration period does not guarantee you a spot on the competitor list.
Waiting List
The waiting list is ordered based on the timestamp that registrants paid the registration fee. For privacy reasons, this list is not available to the public. If you are added to the waiting list you will be informed via an email from the Organization team.
Anyone on the waiting list who wishes to be removed from the waiting list may contact the organizers to delete their registration and be refunded 100% of their registration fee.
If the competitor list fills up quickly, registration could close earlier than the originally listed date. The waiting list will close at the same time that registration closes.
If anyone on the competitor list deletes their registration, the person at the top of the waiting list will be moved to the competitor list. After Friday, July 19, 2024 at 20:00 UTC-4, the competitor list will be finalized and registrants who are still on the waiting list will be refunded 100% of their registration fee.

En raison de la limite de compétiteurs, le fait de compléter votre inscription pendant la période d'inscription initiale ne vous garantit pas une place sur la liste des compétiteurs.
Liste d'attente
La liste d'attente est ordonnée en fonction de l'horodatage du paiement des droits d'inscription par les inscrits. Pour des raisons de confidentialité, cette liste n'est pas accessible au public. Si vous êtes ajouté à la liste d'attente, vous en serez informé par un e-mail de l'équipe de l'Organisation.

Venue
To get to the venue, you'll need to use the building's main entrance. Signs on the building will guide you.
Public Transit
The Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre is serviced by OC Transpo's lines 85 and 57. Check OC Transpo's Travel Planner for more details.
Parking
The parking lot inside Brittania Park is free, however there is a limited amount of spots. Other free parking spots are available in nearby streets as well.
Wi-Fi
There is free Wi-fi avaible for all guests at the venue.
Lunch
The most accesible restaurant option is The Baja Burger Shack as it is meters away from the venue in Brittania Park.
Other options such as a grocery store or other restaurants are available a 5 minutes drive away outside Brittania Park.
There will be a fenced terrace outside the venue that will be reserved for the event, so don't hesitate to to enjoy the warm temperatures by eating outside!

The groups will be published here after the registration period has ended. These groups are when you are assigned to compete, judge and/or scramble during an event you are registered for.
Per Regulations 1e2 and 1f2, all competitors must be available to help judge and scramble. If you're unsure how to judge, please review the WCA Regulations, watch this video, or ask one of the WCA Delegates at the competition.
Please plan to arrive to each of your groups five minutes before it is scheduled to begin. Showing up excessively late to your group may result in not being allowed to compete in that event.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
