The WCA Financial Committee (WFC) has issued an update to the WCA Dues System Policy that will be applicable to all competitions announced on and after October 25, 2022. The changes include an increase in the percentage of the registration fee per competitor that is owed as a due from each WCA competition and increases the base level of dues per competitor for countries that fall in Bands 4 and 5.

This change will provide significant funding for the growth of the WCA, and to start working on projects that are currently in the planning stages. For the short term, funding will be going towards improvements to WCA Software.
