Wir freuen uns sehr, euch BF Vienna 2023 als ein offizielles WCA Turnier ankündigen zu können.

Die Speedcubing Competition wird organisiert von Florian Truckenthanner und Simon Praschl und delegiert von Šimon Borovský und Viktor Kalmar. Diesesmal findet das Turnier in den Räumlichkeiten des BMME statt. Die Resultate dieser Competition werden zu den offiziellen WCA World Rankings hinzugefügt.

Jeder ist bei diesem Turnier herzlich willkommen, unabhängig von der Erfahrung, Alter oder sonstigen Fähigkeiten. Manche Events haben ein spezifisches Zeitlimit, damit wir sicherstellen können den ganzen Tag über im Zeitplan zu bleiben. Es dürfen Puzzles jeder Marke verwendet werden solange sie den WCA Richtlinien entsprechen.

Da dies ein sehr kleines, ruhiges und auch kurzes Turnier wird sind generell keine Gäste erlaubt (da wir auch von der Räumlichkeit begrenzt sind) - falls jedoch ein Teilnehmer einen Gast dabei haben muss, zb. weil du Minderjährig bist und deinen Erziehungsberechtigten dabei haben willst, dann schreibt uns bitte noch vor dem Turnier eine E-mail mit einer Begründung und mit dem Namen des Gastes.

Generell herrscht absolute Ruhe während des Gesamten Turnieres (ausgenommen von den Pausen) da es sich um Blind Events sowohl als auch um Fewest Moves handelt.

We are happy to announce the BF Vienna 2023 as an official WCA Competition.

The speedcubing competition is organised by Florian Truckenthanner and Simon Praschl and delegated by Šimon Borovský and Viktor Kalmar. The results of the competition will be added to the official WCA World Rankings.

The competition is open to all competitors regardless of experience and skill, but certain event-based time limits will be in place to make sure we can stay on schedule and get through the day on time. No prior experience in WCA competitions is necessary, but competitors must be familiar with the WCA Regulations. Any puzzle brand may be used during the competition, as long as it complies with the WCA regulations.

This competition is going to be quite small, short and especially quiet and because of this no guests will be allowed at this competition (also because it is a small room).
If you have a good reason why a guest should accompany you (e.g.: you are a minor and you want to have your legal guardian with you), then please let us know before the competition via email (include the name of the guest and the reasoning).

It has to be absolutely quiet during the whole competition (except during the breaks) because we have Blind and Fewest Moves events only.
