Bay Area Side Events Day 2025
Registration requirements for the competition:
Create a WCA account here if you don't have one.If this is not your first competition, associate your WCA ID to your WCA account here.
Register for this competition below.
There is a competitor limit of 225 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $35 (United States Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe below once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 80% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Payment:
- Upon registering, you will receive an email with the subject "Registration Pending: Bay Area Side Events Day 2025". This does NOT mean that you are on the registration list. Competitors will not be approved until the payment has been made.
- Please ensure you have paid the registration fees via Stripe on the "Register" page. Your registration is not complete and will not be processed until you have paid the registration fee. Contact the organizational team if you encounter an issue.
Waitlist:
- Once the competitor limit has been reached, the waitlist will be opened.
- You must pay the registration fee to be added to the waitlist.
- New registrations will be added to a waitlist and sorted in the order of payment.
- Waitlisted competitors will only be added to the competition if an existing competitors withdraws.
- All competitors still on the waiting list after Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 8:00 PM PST will be removed and provided a full refund.
- You can see your position on the waitlist by checking the "Waitlist" tab.
Deleting Registration/Refunds:
- If you can no longer make the competition, you may request a partial refund.
- To receive a partial refund, you must contact the organizational team by Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 8:00 PM PST.
- Withdrawing enables us to maximize attendance and allows competitors on the waiting list to attend.
Changing Events:
- You may change the events you are registered for by contacting the organizational team by Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 8:00 PM PST. After this date it is not possible to add events. It is also acceptable to not show up for any event you do not wish to compete in.
Unofficial Events:
- This competition has a variety of unofficial events that are not listed on the Register page. For more information and instructions on how to register for these events, see the "Unofficial Events" tab.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STAFF:
- For budgetary reasons, we can only offer a partial registration fee reimbursement for staffers, up to $15.
- You MUST fill out the staff interest form to be on staff. For more information, see the "Staffing" tab. Note that filling out this form does NOT guarantee a spot on staff.
