Information

Kick off the 2023 cubing season in Gauteng with a two day competition in Centurion.

VOLUNTEERING

Please note that all competitors are required to assist with volunteering during the competition - either in the role of "runner", "judge" or "scrambler". These roles will be explained as part of the "New Competitor Tutorial" to be held at the start of Sunday. If you are a new competitor who is competing in any events on Saturday, please speak to a delegate who will show you how to compete and perform the above duties.

We also recommend that you take a look at this video.

How to Register

Please note that there are THREE steps you need to take to be entered into this competition:

1) The competitor must create a WCA account if they do not already have one (or their parent/guardian must create one for them).
2) The competitor must register for the competition using their WCA account, specifying which events they want to participate in. You will then be placed on a waiting list.
3) The competitor must pay the entry fee by buying a ticket on Quicket. Once your registration is matched to a ticket purchase, you will be approved from the waiting list.

If you haven't both registered for the competition (Step 2) and paid for a ticket (Step 3), you will not be able to compete.

Payment

After registering for the competition on the WCA website, your registration will be pending. Once the payment through Quicket has been confirmed, your registration will be approved. (Allow up to 24 hours for the organizers to confirm the payment).

Please note that if you do not purchase a ticket through Quicket within 48 hours of registering on this page, you will be removed from the waiting list, and will need to return to this page to register again.

While we encourage you to register through the WCA website, competitors may instead register on the spot on one of the days of the competition provided the competitor limit has not been reached. Note however, that the past few competitions in Gauteng have reached the competitor limit prior to the competition.
