This competition is a part of the Cube Against Cancer competition series in collaboration with Ethan's Ohana. We are asking that all competitors bring at least one unopened 3x3 cube, which will be donated to a pediatric cancer patient. See the Cube Against Cancer tab for more information.

The University of Texas at Dallas and the Comet Cubing Club will not take custodial responsibility of minors while participating in Cube Against Cancer DFW 2025. Custodial responsibility will remain with teachers K-12, parents, legal guardians, and chaperones.

There is a competitor limit of 100 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $25 (United States Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 5:59 AM UTC you will be refunded 75% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 5:59 AM UTC.
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 5:59 AM UTC on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.
There will be no refund to no-shows unless cancelled before the deadline (Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:59 PM).
Registration
- Registration is first come, first served based on the order of when payment is received.
Deleting Registration/Refunds
- If you register and later realize you cannot make the competiton, you can request a 75% refund (via the contact link on the General Info tab before registration closes.
- No refunds will be awarded after Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:59 PM.
Adding/Dropping Events
- Competitors may edit their registration to include more events BEFORE registration closes.
- Competitors may not add events after registration closes.
- Competitors may edit their registration to remove events. It is also acceptable to not show up for any event you do not wish to compete in.
Waitlist
- If the competitor limit has been reached, the waitlist opens. You can enter the waitlist by registering and paying the fee. Competitors will be accepted from the waitlist in the order that they paid.
- Competitors who do not make it off of the waitlist before the deadline (Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:59 PM) will receive a full refund shortly before the competition.
- No more registrations will be accepted from the waitlist after Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 11:59 PM.

In 48 hours, if you do NOT see your name on the Competitor List, then please reach out to us using the contact link on the General Info tab.
If the competitor limit is filled, you may still register and pay the registration fee if you wish, but you will be placed on a waitlist. Your registration will not be accepted unless a spot opens up.
Newcomer Month
This competition is participating in the official WCA Newcomer Month 2025. The registration process will reserve 35% of spots for new competitors. New competitors are considered to have no WCA ID or a WCA ID with 2025. Returning competitors are considered to have a WCA ID that is from 2024 or earlier. All competitors must still follow all registration requirements for their registration to be considered complete.
Registrations will be accepted based on the following:
35% of spots, as defined by the competitor limit, are reserved for new competitors.
Initially, 65% of spots, as defined by the competitor limit (100), are available for returning competitors on a first come, first serve basis.
If greater than 35% of new competitors register before 65% of spots are filled by returning competitors, any additional new competitors will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis alongside returning competitors.
If the spots reserved for new competitors are not filled by new competitors two weeks before registration closes, remaining spots, up to the competitor limit, will be accepted from registered returning competitors. - Highlights

Ryan Pilat won with an average of 6.02 seconds in the 3x3x3 Cube event. Ryan Ylagan finished second (8.41) and William Henry Ruppert V finished third (9.04).
