Welcome to Kewbz UK Championship 2022!
This year's UK National Championship
Spectators are welcome! Please read the information below, and the information in the Spectators and Guests tab.
If you are a new competitor, please make sure to read all the information in the FAQ and the Important Information tabs before registering. All competitors should be familiar with the information in these tabs.
Free T-Shirt: By registering and attending Kewbz UK Championship 2022, you'll receive a completely free UK Championship t-shirt as a memento! You will receive this on registration at the venue, where you can choose your size.
Guests: Guests will only be permitted to attend by paying a £5 fee at the competition. Competitors will receive lanyards, and their guests and spectators will receive wristbands, which are to be worn throughout the weekend for security reasons. This includes parents/guardians of competitors. The fee must be paid at the competition and cannot be prepaid beforehand. The guest field in the registration form is for informational purposes only, the fee must be paid at the competition.
Qualification Requirements: If you do not meet the qualification requirements in an official WCA competition by 17th October 2022, you will not be eligible to compete in those events. Please see the Events tab to see these requirements. Please note that new competitors can only compete in 3x3, 2x2, Skewb and Pyraminx.
Final Round Advancements: For all events with more than one round we will be taking a minimum number of UK competitors to the final. If necessary, we will increase the size of the final by one competitor at a time until we have enough UK competitors. The requirements are as follows: 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 3x3 Blindfolded, 3x3 One-Handed, Clock, Megaminx, Pyraminx, Skewb, Square-1 - 6 UK competitors; 3x3 - 8 UK competitors. 3x3 Multiple Blindfolded has a Top 16 qualification requirement, similarly this must contain at least 6 UK competitors.
Fewest Moves: FMC will not be held at this competition. To compete for the national champion title for FMC, you must compete at Kewbz UK Championship FMC 2022 on 22nd October instead. The winner of the FMC competition will be awarded their prize during the awards at Kewbz UK Championship 2022.
We will be taking videos and photographs of the competition and the environment for our social media pages and website. Media persons will also be in attendance. By attending the competition as a competitor or a guest, you are accepting that you may be filmed or photographed for these purposes.
Please Note: As this is the UK National Championship, only competitors who represent the United Kingdom will be eligible for prizes. The competition remains open for all nationalities to compete.
