Wellington Mind Games 2025 is an official World Cube Association (WCA) sanctioned speedcubing competition. It is focused on some of the more mentally demanding events, that are given less of a focus in normal competitions - blindfolded and fewest moves solving, specifically.
The competition is open to all competitors regardless of experience or skill. There will also be event-based time limits in place, to ensure we stay on schedule, especially given the time taken by fewest moves solving. No prior experience in WCA competitions is necessary, but competitors should be familiar with the WCA regulations.

Online registration opened Monday, November 25, 2024 at 5:00 AM UTC and closed Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 10:59 AM UTC.

There is a competitor limit of 40 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $35 (New Zealand Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before Friday, January 17, 2025 at 10:59 AM UTC you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 8:00 PM UTC.
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 10:59 AM UTC by contacting the organization team.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.
Payment is made via the external website with two options to pay, either bank transfer or Paypal.
If registration fills up, a waiting list will be created. The last date to make it off the waiting list would be 24 hours before the competition begins with the conditions being that a spot opens up (someone else pulls out) and payment is completed.
Competitors may make changes to their registered events up until the end of registration.

Aneurin Hunt won with a mean of 28.33 moves in the 3x3x3 Fewest Moves event. Jack Maddigan finished second (31.00) and Jack McDougall finished third (34.00).
