This competition is not recommended for first time competitors. Please check out 4x4 by Four Madison Lakes 2024, which will be more friendly towards beginners.

5x5 Blindfolded is the main event of this competition. We recommend giving it a try!

Register for this competition here.
There is a competitor limit of 30 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $40 (United States Dollar).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 75% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.


Parking
Information will be emailed to competitors and posted here leading up to the event.

Groups
Will be posted closer to the competition. Due to the nature of this competition, competitors will be expected to help out throughout the competition for groups they are not competing in.

Live Results
Will be posted to WCA Live throughout the competition.

We will be attempting to hold three rounds of 5x5 Blindfolded at this competition, but we need your help to make this happen! Because of Regulations 9m2 and 9m3, we need to have at least 16 competitors competing in the first round, and at least 8 competitors to get a success. If you know how to solve a 5x5 blindfolded, please attempt at this competition!

If you do not already know how to solve a 5x5 blindfolded, you can find a tutorial here - we highly encourage you to try it out!

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
