AUA Open 2021 is a speedcubing competition organised by Ron van Bruchem, experienced WCA delegate, and Mayis Jraghatspanyan, Leader of the Cubing Club at AUA. We are excited to announce the competition will be held in AUA, in the heart of Yerevan. We hope to attract a lot of new local cubers and give them a chance to compete.

We warmly welcome competitors from abroad to give this event an exciting international mixture. In order to participate you need to fill out the registration form available on the WCA website no later than November 23.

Before the start of the events, all competitors will familiarize with the Stackmat timer, the official timing equipment. Please note that all the participants should bring their own puzzles. Any puzzle brand may be used during the competition, as long as it complies with the WCA regulations.

Results of the competition will be added to the official WCA World Rankings.

ՀԱՀ Բաց Առաջնություն 2021-ը սպիդ-կուբինգի մրցույթ է, որը կազմակերպվել է WCA պաշտոնական պատվիրակ Ռոն վան Բրուխեմի և Մայիս Ջրաղացպանյանի կողմից: Մենք ուրախ ենք տեղեկացնել, որ այս տարի մրցույթն անց է կացվելու Հայաստանում Ամերիկյան Համալսարանում, Երևանի սրտում՝ համալսարանի բարձր հովանու ներքո։

Այս առաջնության միջոցով մենք հուսով ենք գրավել Հայաստանի բոլոր նոր կուբերներին, ինչպես նաև տալ նրանց մրցելու հնարավորություն: Մրցույթին կարող են գրանցվել նաև միջազգային մասնակիցներ, որը ավելի հետաքրքրաշարժ կդարձնի այս տարվա առաջնությունը։ Բոլոր ցանկացողները պետք է առցանց գրանցվեն ԱԿԱ /WCA/ պաշտոնական կայքում մինչև նոյեմբերի 23-ը։
Առաջնության արդյունքները կավելացվեն Աշխարհի Կուբիկի Ասոցիացիայի պաշտոնական կայքի ընդհանուր ցանկին:

Առաջնության սկզբում բոլոր մասնակիցները կծանոթանան արագաչափ սարքին՝ Ստակմատ տայմերին:
Մասնակիցները պետք է ներկայանան իրենց անձնական փազլներով։ Ցանկացած բրենդի փազլ թույլատրվում է օգտագործել, եթե այն համապատասխանում է Ասոցիացիայի կանոնակարգին:

Շատ կարևոր է, որ մասնակիցներն իմանան Աշխարհի Կուբիկի Ասոցիացիայի կանոնակարգը, որպեսզի առաջնությունն ընթանա առանց լուրջ խնդիրների:

Due to current circumstances regarding COVID-19, multiple precautions will be taken during the competition.
The number of competitors is limited (60 people).
We recommend that each competitor keeps their number of guests to a minimum (e.g. just one parent). This is to make sure that there is plenty of space in the venue to allow social distancing.

WCA Competition Safety Policy acts as the foundation for our preventive activities.

The following restrictions will be in effect:
* Everyone with symptoms of illness are required to stay at home.
* All participants and guests must wear a face mask while in the university.
* Competitors are NOT allowed to bring more than 1 guest to the competition.
* We will keep at least one meter distance between competitors at all times. To facilitate this, we will have fewer solving stations than the venue could otherwise manage, and keep distance as much as possible.
* Hand sanitizers will be available during the entire competition. We will wash and sanitize our hands often, as well as disinfect puzzles before each round.
* Competitors should not borrow puzzles from each other.
* Competitors must bring their own pens. Feel free to bring several, and don't borrow from each other.
* Competitors may bring their own cube cover.
* Competitors may disinfect the competing surface before their attempts.
* There will be one solving station per table.
* Competitors will solve using fixed seating for all their solves of a round.
* Judges will be seated at the short side of the table, at least 1 meter away from the competitor.
* A competitor should be the only person touching the timer during a round. This means that the competitor will be the one starting and resetting the timer. It should be noted that it is still the judge’s responsibility that this is carried out.
* After the attempt, competitors remove the timer from the stackmat, and turn it so that the judge can read the time without approaching the competitor.
* Neither judges nor runners should come in contact with the puzzles. This means that competitors will be the ones putting the cube into the cover after the attempt, and the judge should not touch the puzzle unless necessary to determine whether or not the puzzle is solved.
* Judges should raise their hand to alert a runner, instead of raising the cube cover.

The current rules allow us to hold the competition as planned, and we are confident that the competition can be held.
However, the situation can change quickly. We therefore want everyone to be aware that the competition may be affected and/or cancelled with short notice, should the situation require it. In that case, information will be sent out via e-mail and there will be NO refund of travel and other costs.

Ելնելով Քովիդ-19-ից ստեղծված իրավիճակից՝ կիրականացվեն հետևյալ կանխարգելիչ միջոցառումները՝

WCA Առաջնությունների անվտանգության քաղաքականության հիման վրա են իրականացվում կանխարգելիչ միջոցառումները։

Կգործեն հետևյալ սահմանափակումները՝
* Ովքեր ունեն հիվանդության կամ վարակի ախտանշաններ, բնականաբար չեն մասնակցում առաջնությանը:
* Բոլորը պարտադիր պետք է կրեն դիմակ համալսարանի ներսում:
* Հյուրերի քանակը սահմանափակ է, յուրաքանչյուր մասնակցի թույլատրվում է հրավիրել ՄԻԱՅՆ 1 հյուր։
* Մասնակիցների միջև միշտ կպահվի մեկ մետր հեռավորությունը։ Սա հեշտացնելու համար մենք կունենանք ավելի քիչ մրցելու սեղաններ։
* Ձեռքի ախտահանիչ միջոցները միշտ հասանելի կլինեն առաջնության ընթացքում։ Մենք հաճախ կլվանանք և կախտահանենք ձեռքերը, կախտահանենք փազլները յուրաքանչյուր փուլից առաջ։
* Մասնակիցները չպետք է իրարից ժամանակավոր փազլ վերցնեն մրցելու համար։
* Մասնակիցները պետք է գան իրենց գրիչներով։ Կարող եք բերել մի քանիսը և իրարից չվերցնել։
* Մասնակիցները կարող են գալ փազլը ծածկող հարմարանքով։
* Մասնակիցները կարող են ախտահանել սեղանը մրցելուց առաջ։
* Յուրաքանչյուր սեղանին կլինի մեկ մրցելու կայան։
* Յուրաքանչյուր փուլում մասնակիցները մրցելու են նույն մրցավարի մոտ նույն սեղանին։
* Մրցավարները նստելու են սեղանի փոքր հատվածում մասնակցից 1 մետր հեռավորության վրա։
* Միայն մասնակիցները կարող են դիպչել արագաչափին։ Մասնակիցն է դիպչելու արագաչափին և զրոյացնելու վայրկյանները արագաչափի վրա։ Մրցավարի պատասխանատվությունն է, որ մասնակիցները հետևեն այս կանոնները։
* Փազլը հավաքելուց հետո մասնակիցը հանում է վայրկյանաչափը գորգի վրայից և ցույց տալիս ժամանակը մրցավարին այնպես, որ մրցավարը տեսնի վայրկյանաչափի արդյունքը՝ առանց մասնակցին մոտենալու։
* Ոչ մրցավարները, ոչ էլ վազողները չպետք է դիպչեն փազլներին։ Այսինքն, մասնակիցն է իր փազլը դնելու փազլը ծածկող հարմարանքի մեջ, և մրցավարն իրավունք չունի դիպչել փազլին եթե չկա փազլի հավաքվածությունը ճշտելու անհրաժեշտությունը։
* Մրցավարները պետք է բարձրացնեն իրենց ձեռքը վազող կանչելու համար, ոչ թե փազլը ծածկող հարմարանքը։

Ներկայիս կանոնները մեզ կօգնեն առաջնությունը կազմակերպենք ըստ պլանի, և մենք վստահ ենք որ առաջնությունը տեղի կունենա։
