P: ¿Cómo me registro?
R: En primer lugar tienes que asegurarte de que tengas creada una cuenta de la WCA. Si no es así, se puede hacer de manera muy sencilla haciendo click en "registrarse" y creándote una. Una vez hecho esto, vete a la pestaña Registro y sigue los pasos correspondientes.

P: ¿Por qué no aparezco en la lista de competidores?
R: Por favor, asegúrate de haber seguido todas las instruciones de la pestaña Registro. También es posible que estés en la lista de espera. El limite de competidores puedes verlo en la página Información General y la lista de competidores en Competidores. Si crees haber hecho todo correctamente y aun así no apareces, ten paciencia. Los registros se aprueban de manera manual y los Delegados y organizadores no están disponibles en todo momento. Si tu registro no se ha aceptado pasados dos días, mándarnos un correo.

P: ¿Puedo cambiar los eventos a los que me presento?
R: Sí, mientras el plazo de inscripción siga abierto. Contáctanos a través del correo de la organización y dinos qué categorías quieres cambiar. Si el registro ya se ha cerrado, por favor, no mandes ninguna petición de cambio de eventos. Si el dia de la competición decides no participar en alguna categoría simplemente ve a la mesa de mezclas cuando te toque competir y dile a uno de los Delegados que no te vas a presentar.

P: Ya no puedo asistir, ¿qué debo hacer?
R: Lo primero que tienes que hacer es informarnos vía email tan pronto como lo sepas para que otro competidor pueda ocupar tu lugar. No podemos ofrecer reembolsos ya que pagar la tarifa de registro es un contrato de compromiso.

P: ¿Cómo de rápido tengo que ser para poder competir?
R: Te recomendamos que mires la tabla del Horario para informarte de los tiempos límite de cada prueba. La mayoría de gente va a las competiciones para conocer a gente con la que comparten esta afición sin importar los tiempos o sencillamente a tratar de mejorar sus propios tiempos personales, ¡todo el mundo es apto para competir y pasarlo bien!

P: ¿Hay categorías para diferentes edades?
R: Todos los competidores participan en las mismas condiciones y participantes de todas las edades son bienvenidos. La mayoría de gente suele tener unos 15-20 años, pero también hay gente más joven y más mayor.

P: ¿Tengo que usar mis propios cubos para competir?
R: ¡Sí! Asegúrate de traer puzzles para todos los eventos en los que compitas y no los pierdas de vista.

P: ¿Puedo ir simplemente como espectador?
R: Sí, además la entrada es completamente gratuita para los espectadores. Echa un vistazo al horario del campeonato para que puedas venir a ver los eventos que más te interesen o enterarte de cuando son las finales.

P: ¿Cúando debo estar en el campeonato?
R: Recomendamos que te inscribas dentro de los plazos de inscripción que hay asignados en el horario. Si eres un nuevo competidor, te recomendamos encarecidamente que asistas al tutorial de competición que haremos el sábado a primera hora. Si no, está siempre al menos 15 minutos antes de que empiece la primera ronda en la que compitas.

P: ¿Qué debo hacer cuando llegue?
R: Lo primero que hay que hacer es ir a la mesa de registro para que te podamos dar los regalos de inscripción y la acreditación.

P: ¿Debo estar durante todo el campeonato?
R: Sólo es necesario que estés cuando tengas que competir o hacer de juez/runner/mezclador.

P: ¿Donde miro los resultados y si paso a la siguiente ronda?
R: Los tiempos y clasificaciones de la competición se subirán a esta página unos días después de la competición. Los resultados en directo los encontrarás en WCA Live.

Q: How do I register?
A: First you need to make sure you have created a WCA account. You can do this by going to the sign-up page and creating an account. Once you have created the account and confirmed your email address, go to the Register section and follow the instructions carefully.

Q: Why am I not on the registration list yet?
A: Please make sure that you have followed the instructions in the Register section. You could also be on the waiting list. The competitor limit can be found on the General Info page, and you can see the number on accepted competitors on the Competitors page. If you have done everything correctly and the competition is not full then just be patient. We have to manually approve registrations and the organisers aren't available all the time. If you believe you have followed the steps correctly but still are not on the registration list after 2 days, then feel free to email us at the contact link on the General Info page.

Q: Can I change the events I am registered for?
A: As long as registration is still open, yes you are allowed to change events. Email us with the events you would like to change. If registration is closed then please do not email us with event changes. If at the competition you decide that you do not want to compete in an event, come up to the scramble table when your group is called and simply tell one of the Delegates that you are not going to compete.

Q: I am no longer able to attend, what do I do?
A: The first thing you need to do is tell us as soon as you know via the contact link on the General Info page. Competitions generally fill up quite quickly and letting us know that you can't attend means we can add someone from the waiting list. We cannot offer refunds if you can no longer attend as paying the registration fee is a commitment contract.

Q: How fast do I have to be to compete?
A: We recommend that you check out the Schedule tab - if you can make the time limit for the events you want to compete in, then you're fast enough! Loads of people come to competitions just to beat their own personal bests, and meet likeminded people, with no intention of winning or even making it past the first round.

Q: Are there different age categories?
A: All competitors compete on the same level and all ages are welcome. In general most are aged 10-20 but we have plenty of regulars who are older or younger than this!

Q: Do I use my own cubes to compete?
A: Yes! Make sure to bring cubes for all events you are competing in and look after them, you don't want them to go missing.

Q: Can I come only to spectate?
A: Yes! Spectating this competition will be free for everyone. Take a look at the schedule to come to see the events you are more interested in or to know when the finals are happening.

Q: When do I arrive at the competition?
A: We recommend you to register on the time frames dedicated to that regard, which you can find on the Schedule tab. If you are a new competitor, we highly recommend that you show up for the introduction to competing which is held as the first thing on Saturday. Otherwise, we recommend you turn up at least 15 minutes before your first event.

Q: What do I do when I arrive?
A: The first thing you do when you arrive is find the registration desk if registration is open.

Q: When can I leave the competition?
A: It's only necessary to stay when you have to compete or be a judge/runner/scrambler.

Q: How do I find results?
A: All the results will be found on this page a couple of days after the competition, once they have all been checked and uploaded. If you are looking for live results, they can all be found on WCA Live.

Santa María del Águila es un pueblo a 3 Kms de El Ejido, por lo que la forma más cómoda para venir es tener coche propio.

En bus

En caso de no tener coche y usar transporte público, se recomienda ir a El Ejido y luego en un urbano hacia Santa María del Águila. Los horarios se pueden consultar en la aplicación Moovit, por ejemplo.

En caso de venir desde lejos, se recomienda ir a Almería y posteriormente coger un autobús hacia El Ejido, que algunos de ellos pasan por Santa María del Águila, si no, ir a El Ejido y posteriormente a Santa María del Águila.

If you don't have a car and use public transport, it's recommended to go to El Ejido and then take an urban bus to Santa María del Águila. The bus shcedules can be consulted in the app Moovit.

If you are coming from far away, it is recommended to go to Almería and then take a bus to El Ejido, some of which pass through Santa María del Águila, if not, go to El Ejido and then to Santa María del Águila as before.

ESTA COMPETICIÓN ES ESPECIAL

Como podeis comprobar consultando el horario, se comenzará el Sábado por la tarde.
Eso es debido a que por la mañana se realizará el FMC Spain 2023 en el mismo local de la competición.

Dicha competición consistirá en una única ronda de FMC de forma simultánea en distintas sedes en España.
Para poder inscribirte a dicha competición, entra en su página web, donde podrás ver toda la información referente a dicha competición, así como las sedes donde se realizarán.

En caso de competir en esta competición y en el FMC Spain 2023, la cuota del segundo se te será devuelta en su totalidad (los 3€) una vez finalizados ambos.
Nota: Solo se les devolverá el dinero a aquellos participantes que asistan y compitan. Si te registras al FMC Spain 2023 pero no compites en el FMC Spain, no se te devolverán los 3€.

THIS IS A SPECIAL COMPETITION

As you can see in the schedule, we will start on Saturday afternoon.
This is due to FMC Spain 2023 being held in the same competition venue.

Said competition will consist of a single FMC round done simultaneously in different locations across Spain.
In order to register for that competition, go to its website, where you will find all information related to the competition, as well as all the different locations.

If you participate in both this competition and FMC Spain 2023, the latter's registration fee will be refunded after the end of the two competitions.
Note: The registration fee will only be reimbursed to competitors who actually attend the competition. If you register for FMC Spain 2023 at this location and you don't compete, you will receive no refund.
