For First-Time Competitors
All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. This video gives a basic overview of the rules.
In addition, please read this document before coming to the competition.
For All Competitors
When you arrive, you will receive a card with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also have judging/scrambling assignments on your card. Every competitor is expected to help out during the event(s) they are registered for.
If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.
This competition will be sponsored by TheCubicle! They will be providing gift-card prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in every event. They will not be selling puzzles onsite.
Gift card prizes will be given out to all who place in the top 3 of each event.
As of 2/13/23 the competitor limit of 110 has been reached.
All new registrations will be placed on the waiting list, and will only be accepted if an existing registration is cancelled.
Payment must be complete in order to be considered in line for the waitlist. If your registration is not accepted, or if you inform us that you are not able to attend after it is accepted, a full refund will be issued.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
