This is a side events only mini-competition, intended to be paired with the Austin location of the global FMC 2024 competition. Please see that competition page for more information, and consider participating in both events.
Note that Round 2 of 3BLD being held is subject to having at least 8 competitors participating in Round 1. Information about the exact address in Southwest Austin will be emailed to registered competitors a few days before the event. Due to the size of the venue, non-competing guests will not be permitted except in the case of a minor bringing a parent/guardian.

There is a competitor limit of 20 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $8 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 87% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Registration
Before your registration is accepted, you must pay the registration fee on the WCA registration page.
Due to the size of the venue, non-competing guests will not be permitted except in the case of a minor bringing a parent/guardian.
Please consider also registering for the Austin location of the global FMC 2024 competition which is at this same venue and earlier the same day.
Waitlist
- If the competitor limit has been reached, the waitlist opens. You can enter the waitlist by registering and paying the fee. Competitors will be accepted from the waitlist in the order that they registered.
- Competitors who do not make it off of the waitlist before the deadline (May 25, 2024 at 8:15AM CT) will receive a full refund shortly before the competition.
- No more registrations will be accepted from the waitlist after May 25, 2024 at 8:15AM CT.

Ryan Pilat won with a single solve of 24.54 seconds in the 3x3x3 Blindfolded event. Nathan Benson finished second (1:05.96) and Anish Venkataraman finished third (1:37.12).

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
