The base registration fee for this competition is $20 (Australian Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
You will receive an email stating "Your registration for Australian Nationals 2018 is submitted and pending approval". This does NOT mean that you are on the Registration List. You will go onto the Waiting List.
Competitors on the Waiting List will not be reviewed until payment is made.
Registration may close earlier if the limit is reached. It may close within an hour of opening.
We will not be accepting onsite registrations.Waiting List:

It may take a day or two to manually review.
You will receive an email "Your registration for Australian Nationals 2018 has been accepted" once approved and you will appear on the Competitor list on the competition page.

Registration
Entry is free for spectators.
There is a $20 registration fee for competitors. Please pay using the WCA Stripe system. Your registration will not be approved until payment is received. All registrations are manually reviewed before approving (it may take a day or two before they're reviewed).
There is a 300 competitor limit. Please register and pay online as soon as possible. Refunds will be granted up until the 24th of September. Please let us know if you're no longer able to attend so that someone from the waiting list can attend.

Bo1 = Best of 1

Staff Application
For Australian Nationals 2018 we will be running a dedicated team of volunteer staff who will be scheduled to do assigned duties throughout the competition. If you would like to sign up to help out please fill out the form here. Please note both competitors and non-competitors will be accepted as staff and will have scheduled times to assist throughout the competition.
Staff will receive a $10 refund on their registration to be processed after the competition

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
