Balkan Open 2023 je šesnaesto po redu takmičenje koje se održava u Srbiji. Svako može da se takmiči, nezavisno od njihove nacionalnosti ili godina, ali moraju biti upoznati sa WCA Regulacijama i moraju da ih pročitaju pre takmičenja.

Balkan Open 2023 is the 16th speedcubing competition in a row that's being held in Serbia. Anyone can participate, no matter which nationality or age they are, but they need to be familiar with the WCA Regulations and read them before the competition.

Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until Friday, September 29, 2023 at 10:59 PM UTC.
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 7:00 AM UTC on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of РСД2,500 (Serbian Dinar).
Spectators can attend paying an entry fee of РСД100 (Serbian Dinar).

Za kompletnu registraciju smatramo, kada je WCA ID povezan za WCA profil, ili ako se takmičar nije takmičio pre, ali ima WCA profil, uz pružene sve lične informacije.

Kotizacija za ovo takmičenje iznosi 2,500RSD ili 22EUR koja se uplaćuje direktno na bankovni račun Srpske Kjubing Associjacije, bez obzira u koliko disciplina se takmičite. Dozvoljeno je dovesti goste na takmičenje. Da bi gosti prisustvovali, potrebno je platiti ulaznicu od 100RSD po gostu po danu. Plaćanje se vrši u kešu na licu mesta prilikom registracije takmičara.

Nakon uspešne registracije putem WCA naloga, Vaša registracija će biti prihvaćena i stajaće 5 radnih dana prihvaćena te ukoliko
nam novac ne legne na račun ili ne dobijemo Vašu potvrdu o plaćanju u roku od 5 radnih dana, registracija se briše i sledeći na listi čekanja dobija priliku za takmičenje. Isto vredi i za onoga koji je prihvaćen s liste čekanja - takođe ima 5 dana da se obavi plaćanje kotizacije.

Lista čekanja:
• Nakon što je limit od 170 takmičara dostignut lista čekanja će biti otvorena.
• Nove prijave će biti dodate na listu čekanju po redu prijave.
• Takmičari sa liste čekanja će biti prihvaćeni na takmičenje jedino ukoliko se oslobodi mesto.
• Možete se raspitati o Vašoj poziciji na listi čekanja kod organizacionog tima.

Ukoliko želite da promenite kategorije u kojima se takmičite, kontaktirajte organiztora putem mail-a i napišite koje promene želite da izvršite do 29.09.2023. (23:00 po lokalnom vremenu) Nakon ovog datuma neće biti moguće dodavati kategorije u kojima se takmičite. Ukoliko ne želite da se takmičite u nekoj kategoriji za koju ste se prijavili, prihvatljivo je i da se samo ne pojavite u vreme te kategorije na takmičenju.

We consider a registration complete, when the WCA ID has been connected to the WCA account, or if the competitor has not competed before, but has a complete WCA account, providing all the personal data. Accepting completed registrations are on a first come first serve basis.

The registration fee is 22EUR which must be paid online via bank transfer to Serbian Cubing Association, no matter in how many events you will compete. It is permitted to bring guests to the competition. It is required that guests pay additional fee of 100RSD per day. The payment will be done in cash, on-site, during the registration at the competition.

After successful registration with WCA account, your registration will be accepted and will be accepted for 5 business days and if we do not receive your payment confirmation within 5 business days*, the registration is deleted and the next competitor on the waiting list gets the opportunity to compete. The same goes for the one who is accepted from the waiting list - he also has 5 days to pay the registration fee.

Waiting List:
• Once the competitor limit of 170 has filled, the waiting list will be opened.
• New registrations will be added to a waitlist and sorted in the order of time of registration.
• Waitlisted competitors will only be added to the competition if an existing competitors withdraws.
• You may enquire about your position on the waiting list by contacting the organisational team.

You may change the events you are registered for by contacting the organisational team by 29/09/2023 (11:00PM local Belgrade time). After this date it is no longer possible to add events. It is also acceptable to not show up for any event you do not wish to compete in.

Kako biste se registrovali za ovo takmičenje, morate imati WCA nalog.

Nemam nalog. 1.1. Nikad nisam bio/la na WCA takmičenju. U ovom slučaju, morate kreirati novi WCA nalog na stranici i ispuniti sve potrebne podatke (ime i prezime, datum rođenja, pol i država) i potvrditi svoju e-mail adresu. Nakon što je Vaš nalog potvrđen, možete da se prijavite na takmičenje!

1.2. Bio/la sam na WCA takmičenju, ali nemam WCA ID.
Pratite korak 1.1., ali za zadnji korak spojite svoj WCA ID sa svojim nalogom. Kada je Vaš WCA ID spojen s Vašim WCA nalogom, možete se prijavitii na takmičenje! Uzmite u obzir: WCA nalog bez WCA ID-a se ne mogu prijaviti!

Q: Sa kojim prosekom mogu da se takmičim?
Svako može da se takmiči sa bilo kakvim prosekom. Ako volite Rubikovu Kocku i želite da upoznate druge koji je vole, trebalo bi da dođete.

Q: Da li moram da nosim svoje kocke na takmičenje?
Svaki takmičar nosi svoje kocke na takmičenje dok su štoperice za merenje vremena obezbeđene od strane organizacionog tima.

Q: Kada treba da dođem na takmičenje?
Na takmičenje je potrebno da dođete 15-20 minuta pre početka prve kategorije u KOJOJ SE VI TAKMIČITE jer registracija može potrajati i par minuta, a ako Vam je ovo prvo takmičenje i niste upoznati sa WCA takmičenjima treba doći i na Competition Tutorial na kom ćemo Vam objasniti kako funkcionise takmičenje i demonstrirati njegov tok.

Q: Želim da promenim svoju registraciju, kako to da uradim?
Registraciju možete promeniti tako što ćete željene promene poslati poruku organizacionom timu. Promena registracija je moguća do zatvaranja registracija.

Q: Ako se takmičim samo u subotu/nedelju da li moram da prisustvujem oba dana?
Ne, potrebno je da budete na takmičenju samo u toku rundi u kojima se Vi takmičite.

Q: Šta treba poneti sa sobom na takmičenje?
Ako Vam je ovo prvo takmičenje morate poneti neku vrstu dokumenta sa Vašom slikom i imenom (pasoš, đačka knjižica, lična karta…) kako bismo Vas identifikovali tokom registracije i Vaše kocke sa kojima se takmičite.

Q: Kako da znam u kojoj se grupi takmčimim?
U toku nedelje dana pre takmičenja poslaćemo Vam mail u kojoj će biti raspored takmičenja po grupama.

Q: Da li moram da se takmičim u svim kategorijama?
Ne, tokom prijave ćete imati tabelu u kojoj treba da obeležite u kojim kategorijama ćete se takmičiti.

Q: With what average can I compete at the competition?
Anyone with any time result can participate at the competition. If you like the Rubik's Cube and would like to meet others who like it as well, you should come.

Q: Do I have to bring my own cubes to the competition?
Every competitor has to bring their own cubes to the competition, while the timing equipment is provided by the organization team.

Q: When should I arrive to the competition?
You have to arrive at least 15-20 minutes before your first event because registration can take for a few minutes. If it's you first competition or you are not confident with the Regulations, please be at the venue at the Competition Tutorial event on your first competition day because we will do a demonstration on how the competition runs and summarize the Regulations.

Q: I want to edit my registration. How can I do that?
If you want to change something about your registration, just write an e-mail to one of the contact e-mails displayed on the competition page with what you want to change. Changing your events is only possible until the deadline of the registration.

Q: If I’m not competing on Saturday/Sunday do I have to attend the competition on both days?
If you are not competing on Saturday/Sunday you can attend the competition on the day that you are competing.

Q: What should I bring with me to the competition?
If it's your first competition you will need to bring some kind of card/paper with photo for identification (ID Card, Student Card, Passport) and your puzzles. At the competition everybody uses their own puzzles.

Q: How can I know in which group I’m assigned to compete in?
We will send you the grouping during the week before the competition.

Q: Do I have to compete in all events?
No, during registration you will have a table of events in which you can select events that you want to compete in.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
