Wir freuen uns sehr darauf, euch bei den Bavarian Open 2023 begrüßen zu dürfen! Wir sind der größte Wettbewerb seit einigen Jahren in Bayern, und hoffen mit euch eine aufregendes Wochenende mit neuen Bestzeiten und Rekorden erleben zu können!

If your registration is cancelled before Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 10:00 PM UTC you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 5:00 PM UTC.
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

Informationen für Neulinge
Falls dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein sollte, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:
Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet ein Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vor zu zeigen (Regulation 2e)). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Tutorial (siehe Zeitplan) teilzunehmen.
Alle Teilnehmenden sollte bereits vor der Meisterschaft mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Zusätzlich empfehlen wir euch einen Blick in das WCA Competition Tutorial bzw. unsere deutschsprachige Teilnehmer-Anleitung. Dort findet ihr wichtige Infos zum Ablaub und zur Teilnahme am Wettbewerb. Weiterhin bietet zum Beispiel auch dieses Video-Tutorial einen guten unterstützenden Einblick.
Keine Angst: während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.
Bei wichtigen Fragen vor dem Turnier kannst du dich gerne an das Organisationsteam wenden.

Newcomer information
If this is your first WCA competition, please pay attention to the following:
According to Regulation 2e), all newcomers are required to bring some form of identification document that shows name, citizenship and date of birth.
All newcomers are urgently asked to attend the Tutorial (see schedule).
Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the important regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial. We also recommend this video guide for a more visual impression.
Don't be afraid: there will also be time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions at the competition.
Feel free to contact the organizer if you have any uncertainties.

Jeder Teilnehmer darf bis zu 4 Gäste mitnehmen, die gratis Zutritt zum Wettbewerb erhalten. Diese Anzahl MUSS bei der Anmeldung des Teilnehmers im entsprechenden Feld angegeben werden.
Für alle anderen Gäste, die nicht mit einem Teilnehmer zum Wettbewerb erscheinen, fällt eine Zuschauer-Gebühr von 3€ pro Tag an.

Each participant is allowed to bring up to 4 guests who will have free access to the competition. This number MUST be specified in the participant's registration in the respective field.
For all other guests who do not accompany a participant to the competition, there is a spectator fee of €3 per day.

Zur Haltestelle Reichertshausen (Ilm) fährt die RB 16 zwischen München Hbf und Ingolstadt Hbf stündlich. Von der Haltestelle aus sind es ca. 1km Meter zur Venue.

You can take the line RB 16 from Munich Hbf or Ingolstadt Hbf over Reichertshausen (Ilm) every hour. It's approximately a 1km walk from the station Reichertshausen (Ilm) to the venue.
There are parking options at the venue.
There are several hotels near the venue, for example:

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
