The base registration fee for this competition is $25 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 3:59 AM UTC you will be refunded 75% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 3:59 AM UTC.
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 3:59 AM UTC on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

Please keep in mind that registrations are approved manually after payment, so your registration may not be approved immediately.
Registration is not complete until payment of the registration fee is made.
All competitiors must read the "Competitor Information" tab.
Any requested changes to registration before registration closes will be honored.

WAITLIST INFORMATION:
If the competitor limit of 60 has been reached, you can still register and pay the registration fee to secure a spot on the waitlist. During the registration period, any competitor can cancel their registration by emailing the organization team and allow the first person on the waitlist to take their spot. If you find that you cannot make it to the competition after registering, please contact us so that we can provide you a 75% refund and maximize our attendance.
All registrants still on the waitlist after the registration period ends will have their registrations deleted, and will be fully refunded.

For First-Time Competitors

All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. This video gives a basic overview of the rules.

In addition, please read this document before coming to the competition.

For All Competitors

When you arrive, you will receive a card with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also have judging/scrambling assignments on your card. Every competitor is expected to help out during the event(s) they are registered for. The card will look like the following:

If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.

Masks, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes will be available upon request.
Attendees should maintain a minimum of 3ft from others whenever possible.

If you have symptoms related to COVID-19 such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc. do not attend this competition.
If you have had a positive COVID-19 test or prolonged exposure to someone with the virus within 14 days prior to the competition, do not attend.

All competitors (newcomers included!) will be assigned groups to compete in and help us run the competition. These will be made available shortly before the competition and will also be available on your group card at the competition.

During the competition, results will be uploaded to WCA Live for you to view.

Driving: The venue is most accessible by car. It is located directly off of I-80 and US-11.

Parking: Please park in the parking lot that is closest to Fowler Ave and enter the building on that side. There will be a sign near the entrance directing you where to go.

Hotels: The nearest hotels are near exits 241 and 242 off I-80, about 7 miles/15 minutes away by car.

Dining: There are ample dining options in Berwick within a short drive from the venue.

You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages into the venue, but please be respectful and keep the space clean and dispose of your garbage properly!
There will also be food sales in the venue itself. The menu will include the following:
- Coffee
- Donuts
- Hot Dogs
- Hamburger BBQ
- Pizza
- Candy bars
- Water/Soda

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
