The base registration fee for this competition is $19 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 95% of your registration fee.

Travel:
This competition takes place at the Perkins building on Eastern Kentucky University's campus and there are a variety of hotels nearby off I-75 exit 87.
Parking:
There is a decently sized parking lot directly adjacent to the Perkins building, and a large parking lot called the Big E lot nearby.
Masks are recommended but not required.
The organization team strongly recommends receiving a COVID-19 vaccination before competing.
If you have symptoms related to COVID-19 such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc. do not attend this competition.
If you have had a positive COVID-19 test or prolonged exposure to someone with the virus within 14 days prior to the competition, do not attend.
The competition may be cancelled or have a mask requirement imposed if the COVID-19 situation in Kentucky and/or the US worsens.
By registering for this competition, you agree that you understand all the information presented in this tab, will abide by all the COVID-19 restrictions placed on this competition, and acknowledge the risk of contracting COVID-19 or any other disease in attending an event of this scale.
For first-time competitors
All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. This video gives a basic overview of the rules. Note that this video is fairly old and some information may be outdated.
In addition, please read this document before coming to the competition.
Finally, please be familiar with how to judge at a cubing competition. All competitors will be required to judge in at least one of the events they are competing in. This video gives a basic overview of how to judge, and does include more up-to-date information.
For all competitors
When you arrive, you will receive a card with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also have judging/scrambling assignments on your card. Every competitor is expected to help out during the event(s) they are registered for. The card will look like the following:
If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.
Mirror Blocks will be held as an unofficial event at this competition. This means that results will not be recorded in WCA's rankings. However, the organization team will have the results posted on a competition tab after the competition.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
