This competition is participating in the official WCA Newcomer Month 2024. The registration process will reserve 50 spots for new competitors. New competitors are considered to have no WCA ID or a WCA ID with 2024. Returning competitors are considered to have a WCA ID that is from 2023 or earlier. All competitors must still follow all registration requirements for their registration to be considered complete. Your registration is only complete after paying the registration fee via the WCA website. Registrations will be accepted based on the moment of payment.
Registrations will be accepted based on the following:
* 50 spots are reserved for new competitors.
* Initially, 100 spots are available for returning competitors on a first come, first serve basis.
* If more than 50 new competitors register before 100 spots are filled by returning competitors, any additional new competitors will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis alongside returning competitors.
* If the spots reserved for new competitors are not filled by new competitors before registration closes two weeks prior to the competition, remaining spots, up to the competitor limit, will be accepted from registered returning competitors.

This competition is open to everyone. Registration starts on Wednesday, February 7 at 8 pm.
The entry fees for competitors is €12, guests can attend free of charge. This must be paid in advance, by following the instructions below.
This competition is a part of the WCA Newcomer Month 2024. 50 from 150 spots are reserved for new competitors of competitors with a 2024 WCA id. Carefully read the registration instructions below.
When 150 competitors have completed their registration by paying the entry fee, registration will be closed and a waiting list will be started.
How to register
- Fill in the form on this site.
- Pay the entry fee. You can only pay by credit card via the WCA website!
- Then, we will accept your registration and your name will show up on the registration list. Your registration will only be accepted as soon as we have received your payment. Registrations will be accepted based on the moment of payment.
Cancellation
If you registered but are unable to attend for some reason, you can cancel your registration by sending an email to the organizers. If you do this before Friday, 8th of March (two weeks before the competition), we will refund half of your entry fee.
Change events
You can change the events you are registered for on on this site, until the Friday, 15th of March, 8pm.

100 returning competitors reached
We have reached 100 returning competitors (2023 WCA id or older). This means that we will only accept new competitors (newcomers or 2024 WCA id) until Friday, March 8, 8pm. If we don't reach the competitor limit by Friday, March 8, 8pm, we will accept returning competitors off the waiting list.
New competitors will still be accepted until we reach the competitor limit!

The venue is the cafetaria of KTA Brugge. The entrance of the venue is located at Rijselstraat 7, Brugge.

The venue is located within walking distance of Brugge train station.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
