If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.

For First-Time Competitors
All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. This video gives a basic overview of the rules.

For All Competitors
When you arrive, you will receive a card with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also have judging/scrambling assignments on your card. Every competitor is expected to help out during the event(s) they are registered for. The card will look like the following:
If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.
Driving Directions
From I91 North and South
Take exit 24 and then take a left onto Gilman Rd (Rte 122). Stay on this road for approximately 1.7 miles until you reach an intersection with a stop light. Go straight onto East Burke Rd for 4.74 miles and Mountain Road will be on your right (There will be a sign for the Hotel and Conference Center). Travel 2.5 miles up Mountain Rd and you will see a sign that says "Event Parking" on the right. Park in this lot and follow the foot bridge near the back of the parking lot to the Hotel and Conference Center. The Ballroom is on the second floor.
**NOTE:* There is also parking in the front of the building, but we please ask that you park in the event parking, due to lack of spaces in the front, unless your situation requires it*

Finding The Ballroom
From event parking, walk down through the footbridge (near the back of the "Event Parking" lot). You will see the Hotel and Conference center just across the road. Carefully cross the road and enter the double doors into a table seating area, and the ballroom is on your right at the end of the hallway. Note: Entering the back of the Hotel from Event Parking means you are already on the second floor.
From the lobby (1st Floor): Take the elevator or stairs up to the 2nd floor, and the ballroom will be on your right, down the hall

Wake up. Warm up. Edmund's Coffee Shop serves fresh USDA Organic Coffees from Vermont Coffee Company as well as hot and cold breakfast items. Lunch includes burgers, chicken fingers, fries, etc.–everything a family needs to recharge and get back out on the snow.
Bringing Your Own Lunch Is Allowed
You're allowed to bring your own food in, as long as you keep food and drinks in the cafeteria area down the hall (If you purchase food and drinks at an on-site restaurant, you ARE allowed to bring into the ballroom).
Masks have now become optional, however we still strongly recommend wearing one at the competition.
There is a limitation of two guests alongside yourself at this competition.
Venue entrance policy:
- All attendees (competitors and spectators) must show valid proof of at least one of the following two requirements to be allowed in the venue:
1) They are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. To clarify, an individual is only considered fully vaccinated if they have received their second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) or their only dose of a single-dose vaccine (J&J) more than two weeks before the competition. Any dose received after Saturday, November 5, 2022 is insufficient for entrance to the competition.
OR
2) They tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours (3 days) of the competition. The date when the test is conducted is what matters, not the date when the results are received. Any test conducted earlier than Wednesday, November 16th is insufficient for entrance to the competition. At home tests are NOT sufficient for entrance.
Registration Process
Before You Register
All prospective registrants need a WCA account. New competitors can create their own WCA account by clicking here and entering the required information.
How to Register Online
The competitor limit for this competition is 70.
Prospective competitors register by:
1. Signing into their WCA account;
2. Clicking "Register" on the left side of this webpage, selecting the events they would like to compete in, and submitting their registration;
3. Paying the registration cost of $30.00. (The registration cost is the same, regardless of how many events are selected.)
Your registration is not complete until you have paid the registration fee.
PLEASE NOTE: If you paid but don't see your name on the registration list within 48 hours of payment (assuming 70 competitors aren't on the competitor list already), please email the organizers. Organizers still have to manually move competitors to the approved competitor list following payment.
How to Pay for Registration Online
Payment is processed through Stripe.
Click on the "Register" tab on the left side of the webpage to register and pay all in one place! You can start the payment process by clicking "Pay your fees with card."
Withdrawing Registration
Registering and paying demonstrates your commitment to attend the competition. However, if you have registered and are no longer able to attend, please delete your registration under the Register tab.
Refunds
If you withdraw your registration before registration closes (Saturday November 12, 2022 11:59pm EST), you are eligible for a refund for half (50%) of your registration cost. After this date, no refund requests will be honored. Tips are not considered part of the registration fee and are non-refundable.
There will be no refunds issued after this date. Attempting to file a chargeback for the registration fee will lead to being blacklisted from future WCA events.
Any requested changes to registration before registration closes will be honored. Your registration is not complete until your name shows up on the list. If you believe you paid and your name isn't showing up, please contact us so that we can assist you.
Competitors MUST register and pay online in order to compete. No at-the-door registrations or payments will be accepted.
Waitlist Information
We will be keeping a waitlist for this competition. To secure a place on the waitlist once 70 competitors have paid, simply pay the registration fee. If a competitor deletes their registration, you will be notified if you are the next person on the waitlist. Registration will fully close once there are 15 competitors on the waitlist, or at 11:59pm EST on Saturday November 12th, whichever comes first.
Once the deadline to request a refund has passed, all remaining competitors on the waitlist will be emailed letting them know they did not get off the waitlist and will be refunded.

We ask that all staff pay the registration fee. If you are actively helping throughout the day, then you will be refunded after the competition. No exceptions.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
