Information

The only events at this competition will be 3x3x3 Multiple Blindfolded and 3x3x3 Fewest Moves. First-time competitors are welcome, however we will not be holding the normal speedsolving events, and so you may prefer to attend a different competition.

There is a competitor limit of 20 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $5 (United States Dollar).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

There will be two groups for each multi blind attempt. Please note that these groups may change if there are cancellations / no-shows.

Group 1: Christopher Chi, James Quinn, James Donahue, Alex Cheng
Group 2: Tim Reynolds, Will Russo, Nicholas McKee, Alexei Sinyavin

Before FMC attempts 1 and 2, we will collect cubes for multi blind. You do not have to submit the cubes you're using in FMC. We'll then scramble all cubes for both groups, and group 1 will start. Once about half of group 1 has finished their attempt, we'll start group 2.

All competitors will be required to help with judging.

The competition will be held at Tim Reynolds' house. The address will be provided to registered competitors a week before the competition. It is near Alewife in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

There is public transit available very nearby. Limited street parking is also available.

This competition will be sponsored by TheCubicle!

The winner of each event will receive a $10 gift card to The Cubicle, and second place in each event will receive a $5 gift card.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
