Before registration opens
If you don't have a WCA account, you should create one here before registration opens.
How to Register
Log in to your WCA account, and click on the register link on the left side of this page. Your registration is not considered complete until you've paid the $30 registration fee via Stripe.
Waiting List
Due to limited space, this competition has a 110-person competitor limit. After 110 people have registered and paid, all additional competitors will be added to the waiting list. You need to pay the registration fee to be added to the waiting list; we'll refund your fee if you don't get in.
You'll be notified by April 15 if you were accepted from the waiting list.
Refunds
All competitors who cancel their registration by April 15 will have 50% of their registration fee refunded. All competitors who are not accepted from the waiting list wil have their entire registration fee refunded.
All competitors will be expected to judge and scramble throughout the day. If you would like to join the volunteer staff, you may apply to do so at this link. Staff members are expected to spend the majority of the day volunteering, and will receive free registration and lunch.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
