This competition takes place at a hotel, with which we have reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate. To book, visit this page. We have the block reserved for the night of Friday, May 17th with breakfast included. The deadline to book under the discounted rate is Saturday, May 4th.

First-time competitors should be present for check-in between 8AM and 8:30AM.

The base registration fee for this competition is $25 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 90% of your registration fee.

We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of $25 (United States Dollar).

Street parking in downtown Huntington is free on weekends. For those staying in the hotel, the hotel offers valet parking for $10.00.

CubingUSA Great Lakes Championship 2024

This year's Great Lakes Regional Chamipionship will be held October 4-6 in Louisville, Kentucky and is open to competitors of all skill levels and experience. This can even be your first competition!

Rubik's WCA North American Championship 2024

We are proud to host this year's North American Championship in the Midwest! Come to Minneapolis, MN July 18-21 to meet other cubers from across the continent! You will need to qualify in order to register, but do not worry! All you need to do to qualify is attend one competition before June 6th and achieve an official 3x3 average under one minute. More information on the North American Championship can be found here.

There will be unofficial events held the night before the competition in the Hotel Lobby.
These events are held outside of the official WCA competition, and results will be uploaded to CubingContests.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
