Avant la compétition l'équipe d'organisation est susceptible de vous envoyer un ou plusieurs mails. Merci de bien vouloir répondre dans les délais, une absence de réponse pourrait nous conduire à supprimer votre inscription s'il y a une liste d'attente.

Si vous êtes adhérent AFS ou nouveau compétiteur, l'inscription pour participer à la compétition elle même (pas pour entrer dans le festival) est gratuite. Vous n'avez pas besoin de payer en ligne, il vous suffit d'attendre que nous acceptons votre inscritpion.

Dans le cas contraire, l'inscription à la compétition coûte 1 euro.

Billet d'entrée pour le festival POPCON

La compétition se déroule à l'intérieur du festival POPCON.
L'inscription à la compétition n'inclue pas le billet d'entrée au festival !
Vous devrez vous présenter à l'entrée muni de votre billet pour le festival.

Si vous êtes adhérent à l'AFS : celui-ci vous sera envoyé gratuitement par mail avant la compétition, une fois votre inscription à la compétition validée.

Si vous n'êtes pas adhérent : Vous devez acheter vous même votre billet. Un lien pour acheter un billet vous permettant l'accès à la compétition par une entrée spéciale vous sera envoyé par mail. Prix pour une entrée 2 journées : 15€. Vous ne pourrez malheureusement pas participer sans billet pour le festival.

Registration to the competition

Before the competition, the organisation team may send you one or multiple emails. Please answer them in time. Not answering to these mails might make us delete your registration, if there is a waiting list.

If you're an AFS member or if it's your first competition, the competition is free, you don't need to pay online, just wait for us to accept your registration.

Otherwise, the registration fee is 1€.

Do not hesitate to make a donation in order to support the AFS and allow it to buy and renew the French equipment.

Entrance ticket for the POPCON convention

The competition takes place inside the POPCON convention.
Registration to the competition do NOT include the entrance ticket to the convention!
You must present yourself at the entrance with your ticket to the convention.

If you are an AFS member: A free ticket will be sent to you by email before the competition, once your registration for the competition has been validated.

If you are not an AFS member: You must buy your ticket yourself. A link to buy a ticket allowing you access to the competition by a special entrance will be sent to you by email. Price for this 2 days entry: 15 €. Unfortunately, you will not be able to participate without a ticket for the convention.

If you are bringing guests who do not participate, they must also buy an entrance ticket, which will be 15€ for two days. You can buy tickets online: https://popcon.fr/billetterie.

Nous vous invitons fortement à assister au "tutoriel" (si le planning ne contient pas de "tutoriel", celui-ci aura lieu un peu avant le 3x3)
Vous devez apporter une pièce d'identité le jour de la compétition ou nous la scanner par mail avant la compétition.

If it's gonna be your first competition, here's what you need to know:

You must register or login on the WCA website.
You must register to the competition (tab "Register" on the competition page).

La finale de la coupe de l'AFS se déroulera le samedi à 18h (jusqu'à 19h) dans un grand amphithéatre devant un public, toujours à l'intérieur du festival PopCon.
Les huits finalistes, sélectionnés parmi les membres de l'AFS sont les compétiteurs français les plus performants en compétition officielle à la moyenne de 3x3 sur la période de janvier à septembre 2018. Plus d'informations ici [archive].
Ils s'affronteront lors de tête-à-tête pendant lesquels ils devront résoudre un 3x3 le plus rapidement possible. Ils commenceront l'inspection puis la résolution en même temps et sur le même mélange, à chaque duel. Chaque fois qu'un compétiteur finira en premier, il gagnera un point. La compétition se fera sous la forme d'un tableau avec quart de finale, demi-finale et finale. Les matchs se feront en trois points gagnants.

Samedi à 11h (15 minutes) : démonstration par quelques membres de l'AFS sur la grande scène du festival pour faire venir le public à l'initiation du lendemain et à la coupe de l'AFS le soir à 18h.
Dimanche à 12h15 (45 minutes) : initiation en amphi.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
