This is a "quiet" competition competition and does not feature standard events like 3x3 and 2x2. For first-timers or those looking for a more typical competition experience, check out any of the many other competitions happening in Texas, including DFW Cubing Spring 2024 the day after on April 28th.

Only 2 guests per competitor will be permitted. Please consider coming without guests as spectator seating will be limited.

  • Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early for the events you are competing in to ensure that you are on time for that event.
  • To keep the competition running on time and to ensure we can keep the events on schedule we will be requiring all competitors to also judge. We also invite any parents or guests to also help to judge - thank you for your support.

New Competitors

We do not recommend this competition for newcomers, as this competition only features blindfolded events, big cubes, 3x3 Fewest Moves, and Clock. We instead incourage you to check out the many other competitions happening in Texas.

However, new competitors are still allowed to compete. If so, please be familiar with all of the WCA Regulations, most importantly Article B (Blindfolded Solving) and Article E (Fewest Moves Solving). If you have any questions about the regulations, feel free to ask us!

Room Details: The competition will be held in the Engineering and Computer Science Building (ECSS), room 2.412. When entering ECSS from the south, 2.412 is the second room on the right.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
