FMC Canada

[EN] This competition will have competitors simultaneously competing in 3x3x3 Fewest Moves at different locations across Canada with one winner.

This isn't your typical speed solving competition as 3x3x3 Fewest Moves is the only event. If you are looking to compete in 3x3x3 Cube or other events, please look for another competition in Canada.

[FR] Cette compétition de 3x3 résolution optimisée aura lieu dans différents endroits simultanément à travers le Canada et aura un seul gagnant.

Ce n'est pas une compétition classique, puisque le 3x3 résolution optimisée (aussi appelé FMC) est l'unique épreuve. Si vous cherchez à participer à une compétition de speedcubing plus classique, merci de chercher une autre compétition au Canada.

There is no competitor limit.
The base registration fee for this competition is $10 (Canadian Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1:00 AM UTC you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 1:00 AM UTC.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

Selecting a Location / Sélectionner un lieu

[EN] Please include the name of the city you wish to compete in the "Comments" section of the registration form. Registrations that do not include a valid city name will not be accepted.

Competitor Limits and Waiting List / Limites de compétiteurs et Liste D'attente

[EN] Please make note of the location-specific competitor limits found in the Locations tab. Each location will enforce the competitor limit independently.

Once the competitor limit is reached for a given location, registrants who pay the registration fee will be added to the waiting list instead of the competitor list for that location. Due to the competitor limits, completing your registration within the initial registration period does not guarantee you a spot on the competitor list. The waiting list is ordered based on the timestamps that registrants paid the registration fee.

Anyone on the waiting list who wishes to be removed from the waiting list may contact the organizers to delete their registration and be refunded 100% of their registration fee.

If anyone on the competitor list deletes their registration, the person at the top of the waiting list will be moved to the competitor list. After November 25, 2022, the competitor list will be finalized and registrants who are still on the waiting list will be refunded 100% of their registration fee.

[FR] Veuillez prendre note des limites de compétiteurs propres à chaque lieu, figurant dans l'onglet lieux. Chaque endroit appliquera la limite de compétiteurs de manière indépendante.

Une fois que la limite de compétiteurs est atteinte pour un lieu donné, les nnouveaux inscrits payant les frais d'inscription seront ajoutés à la liste d'attente au lieu de la liste des compétiteurs pour ce lieu. En raison des limites de compétiteurs, le fait de compléter votre inscription pendant la période d'inscription initiale ne vous garantit pas une place sur la liste des compétiteurs. La liste d'attente est ordonnée en fonction de l'heure à laquelle les inscrits ont payé les frais d'inscription.

Toute personne sur la liste d'attente qui souhaite être retirée de cette dernière peut contacter les organisateurs pour supprimer son inscription et être remboursée à 100% de ses frais d'inscription.

Si une personne sur la liste des compétiteurs supprime son inscription, la personne en tête de la liste d'attente sera déplacée vers la liste des compétiteurs. Après le 25 novembre 2022, la liste des compétiteurs sera finalisée et les personnes inscrites sur la liste d'attente seront remboursées à 100% de leurs frais d'inscription.

Mark Boyanowski won with a mean of 29.67 moves in the 3x3x3 Fewest Moves event. Ben Bergen finished second (30.33) and Max Xiong (熊锐明) finished third (31.33).

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
