Important: This is not a typical Speedcubing-Competition and not suitable for spectators. The competition only features the event "Fewest Moves". We do not hold the event "3x3x3 Cube". You can find other German competitions here.
The entrance fee for competitors is 15 Euro for the competition with pre-payment. There is no entrance fee for guests, but guests will be asked to leave the room during attempts!

Malte Ihlefeld won with a mean of 24.00 moves in the 3x3x3 Fewest Moves event. Noah Kraft finished second (24.67) and Jan Bentlage and Sebastiano Tronto finished third (24.67).

Dortmund has an excellent traffic infrastructure with many direct international and national connections:
By train
The venue is only 2 minutes away from Dortmund central station, which is served by ICE, Thalys and regional trains.
Leave the building at the southern exit and turn left. After about 300 meters, turn right into Hansastraße and you will see the VHS Dortmund building on the left side.
By car
The venue is located in the city centre, close to the central station, so there are no free parking spots near the venue. There are several car parks nearby though, for example:

* Parkhaus Alte Post
By plane
Dortmund has a small airport, which is mainly operated by WizzAir and Ryanair. From Dortmund Airport you can take a shuttle bus to the central station (approx. 25 minutes) and walk to the venue from there.

Mit dem Zug
Der Veranstaltungsraum ist nur 2 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt.
Verlasse den Bahnhof durch den südlichen Ausgang und gehe nach links. Nach etwa 300 Metern biege rechts in die Hansastraße ein. Das Gebäude ist nun auf der linken Seite.
Mit dem Auto
Der Veranstaltungsraum ist im Stadtzentrum nahe des Hauptbahnhofes, so dass leider keine kostenfreien Parkplätze zur Verfügung stehen.
Es gibt aber zahlreiche Parkhäuser in der Nähe:

We will not provide any food or drinks during the competition, so please don't forget to bring something.
There is a small supermarket about 2 minutes from the venue. But breaks between the attempts are short, so better plan ahead.
For lunch, you can also find several restaurants and shops around the venue.

Wir stellen während der Competition keine Snacks und Getränke zur Verfügung, also vergiss nicht dir etwas mitzubringen.
Es gibt ungefähr 2 Minuten von der Venue entfernt einen kleinen Supermarkt, aber die Pausen zwischen den Versuchen sind kurz, also sorge besser vor.
Für die Mittagspause findest du zahlreiche Restaurants und Geschäfte um die Venue herum.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
