Information

FMC New Zealand 2022 is an official World Cube Association (WCA) sanctioned speedcubing competition. This competition is the national championship for 3x3x3 Fewest Moves and is being held in 3 locations across NZ (Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch). No prior experience is necessary but competitors should be aware of what 3x3x3 Fewest Move involves and how to compete.

Wellington Venue Details

Enter via Gate A on Paterson Street and go all the way to the end of the driveway to the Sports Centre. Parking is on the netball courts outside.
The classroom is upstairs in the Sports Centre, number T11 or T12.

Christchurch Venue Details

Classroom W7, on the left if entering from Barrington Street.
Walking from the Barrington Street entrance, once you pass the bike storage, look to your left and walk onto the path between the Marae and the block of classrooms.
When you reach a corner with rooms to your left and in front of you, turn right and follow until the end of the path, where you will find W7.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
