This competition is a special competition with only 3x3 Fewest Moves, 4x4 Blindfolded, 5x5 Blindfolded, and 3x3 Multi-Blindfolded; we will not be holding any standard speedsolving events. If you are a first-time competitor and are interested in competed in regular events like 3x3, you may want to look into Cuber Jackets Fall 2023.
This competition will have three cats roaming around the venue.
Only one guest per competitor is permitted. Please consider coming without a guest if possible as spectator seating will be limited due to the competition being held at a private residence.

No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 1 guest.
Registrations are accepted manually, so please be patient while waiting for your name to appear on the competitor list after you submit your registration. If you still do not see your name on the competitor list 24 hours after registering, then please contact the organizers to resolve the issue. You do not have a confirmed spot at the competition until you receive an email with the subject line: "Registration Accepted: Algorithms on FMCats Georgia 2023." Any travel plans that you make before receiving the acceptance email are at your own risk.
After the competitor limit has been reached, you may still submit your registration in order to be put on the waiting list. If you are first on the waiting list and someone cancels their registration, then you will receive an email from the organizers notifying you that you are being accepted into the competition.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
