För att ta del av rabatten är det bara att vara registrerad i SveKubs medlemsregister, sedan anmäler du dig som vanligt. Vi verifierar sedan vilka av de anmälda som är medlemmar och inte.
Du betalar till att börja med fullt pris, men vi återbetalar 25% i samband med att anmälan granskas (godkänns eller sätts på väntelistan).
I framtiden hoppas vi kunna ha ett något smidigare system, men anmälningssystemet kan i dagsläget inte ha olika anmälningsavgifter för olika personer.

SveKub

This competition is organized together with SveKub.

As a member of SveKub, you always have a 25% discount on competitions. The membership is free, but is only available for Swedish citizens.
Read more about becoming a member on our website or register right away.

To get the discount, you simply need to be registered as a SveKub member. After that, you register as normal and we will verify which competitors are members and which are not.
You will pay the full price to begin with, but we will refund 25% when reviewing the registration (approving it or moving it to the waiting list).
In the future, we hope to have a slightly more convenient system, but the current registration system can not have different registration fees for different people.

Viktig info

Alla tävande ska ha läst WCA:s Regler. Deltagare förväntas känna till WCA:s reglemente innan man deltar på en officiell tävling. Reglerna finns även översatta till svenska, men tänk på att det är den engleska originalversionen som gäller om det skulle finnas några skillnader.

Vi kommer ha en deltagarintroduktion på lördag morgon för nya deltagare där vi går igenom hur det går till när man tävlar på en officiell WCA-tävling. Vill man redan nu få bättre koll på hur tävlingsproceduren går till, kolla då gärna denna video som visar detta på ett bra sätt. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.

Du måste vara anmäld till tävlingen online för att få tävla! Du kan anmäla dig här.

Alla nya tävlande bör ha med ett giltigt ID. För att få tävla som ny deltagare måste du kunna identifiera dig själv och visa att den information du gav oss när du registrerade dig för den här tävlingen är korrekt. Ett pass är ett bra exempel på ett giltigt ID eftersom det visar all nödvändig information, såsom namn, nationalitet och födelsedatum. Om den tävlande är ung och inte har ett eget ID kan en vårdnadshavare verifiera att uppgifterna stämmer.

Du måste vara redo att tävla när din grupp startar Du behöver bara vara på plats i lokalen under de grenar där du planerar att delta. Du behöver dock vara på plats i lokalen senast 20 minuter innan din första gren ska börja, så du hinner fullfölja incheckningen, och för att vara på den säkra sidan ifall schemat påverkas något under tävlingen.

Fotografering med blixt är förbjudet i hela lokalen! Blixtar är störande för tävlande. Fotografering utan blixt är tillåtet.

Publik måste befinna sig 1,5 meter ifrån tävlingsstationerna och tävlingsområdet Annars finns risken att man stör andra tävlande eller tävlingsproceduren.

Man får inte prata om blandningarna innan man tävlat färdigt i pågående gren Annars finns risken att man blir diskvalificerad.

Håll koll på er e-mail Några dagar innan tävlingen kommer ni få ett deltagarmail där vi kommer ta upp diverse viktig information för deltagare att känna till. I detta mail kommer också eventuella ändringar sedan tävlingen annonserades tas upp. Om det finns annan information som vi snabbt måste kommunicera till deltagare så kommer detta också ske via e-mail, därför är det viktigt att ni håller koll på er e-mail regelbundet.

Important info

All competitors must have read the WCA regulations. Participants are expected to know WCA's regulations before attending an official competition.

We will have a competitor tutorial for new participants on Saturday morning, where we will show how to compete in an official WCA competition. If you want to get a better idea of how the competition works already, please check this video which will show you this. Reading through this guide. is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

You must be registered for this competetiton online in order to compete! You can register here.

All new competitors should bring a valid ID. To be allowed to compete as a new competitor, you need to be able to identify yourself and the information you provided us when you registred for this competition. A passport is a good example of a valid ID since it shows all necessary information, such as name, nationality and date of birth. If the competitor is young and does not have an ID, a parent or guardian can confirm that the information is correct instead.

You must be ready to compete when your group starts. You only need to be present at the venue during the events in which you plan to attend. However, you need to be present at the venue no later than 20 minutes before your first event starts so that you have enough time to complete the chek-in, and also compensate for any slight changes in schedule.

No flash photography in the entire venue! Flash is distracting to the competitors. Pictures without the use of flash are allowed.

Spectators should remain 1,5 meters away from the solving stations and the competition area. Otherwise, you might distract other competitors or disrupt the competition flow.

You are not allowed to talk about the scrambles until the round is done Otherwise, you might get disqualified.

Check your e-mail A few days before the competition, you will receive a participant email where we will address various important information for participants to know. This email will also include any changes made since the competition was announced. If there is any other urgent information which we need to communicate to competitors, then it will be done through e-mail so therefore it is important that you check your e-mail regularly.

Nya tävlande

Om det här är din första WCA-tävling, välkommen! Det är viktigt att du läser igenom alla flikar här på sidan, eftersom det finns mycket viktig information där.

Om du aldrig tävlat förut bör du ha med ett giltigt ID, till exempel ett pass eller körkort, för att intyga när du är född och din nationalitet. Om den tävlande inte har ett ID kan en förälder bekräfta dessa uppgifter.

På lördag morgon innan 2x2 kommer vi demonstrera hur det går till att tävla, men vi rekommenderar starkt att du även kollar på den här videon så du bättre förstår hur det går till att lösa i tävling. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.

Det är också viktigt att du läser igenom WCA-reglerna så du får en bättre förståelse för vilka olika tidsstraff du kan få på lösningarna, och hur du undviker dem.

Kom ihåg att du bara behöver vara i lokalen när du har någon gren att tävla i, men eftersom schemat kan ändras något under tävlingen rekommenderar vi att du är där minst 20 minuter innan din första gren.

Under hela tävlingen kommer du kunna se live-resultat från WCA Live, där kan du se vilka resultat du fick, och ifall du gick vidare till nästa runda.

New competitors

If this is your first WCA competition, welcome! Make sure to read through all tabs above as there is a lot of important information there.

If you've never competed before, you should bring a valid ID, for example a passport or driver's licence, to verify your birth date and nationality. If the competitor does not have an ID, a parent can confirm this information.

We will have a demonstration showing how the competing process works on Saturday morning before 2x2, but we highly recommend watching this video to get a good understanding of how solving in competition works. Reading through this guide is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

It is also important that you read through the WCA Regulations so that you are aware of different penalties and how to avoid them.

Remember that you only need to be at the venue when you have an event to compete in, but since the schedule might change slightly throughout the competition, we recommend showing up at least 20 minutes before your first event.

Throughout the competition, you will be able to see live results from WCA Live, and there you can see what results you got and whether or not you proceeded to the next round.

Boende

Deltagare och gäster kommer kunna övernatta i ett antal klassrum i Västra Stenhagenskolan, som ligger ca 750 meter från tävlingslokalen. Övernattningen är endast från lördag till söndag och kostar 50kr per person. Anmäl er via detta Google-formulär - https://forms.gle/kudrM9Zj1PbzCy728. Kom ihåg att betalningen på 50kr per person måste betalas innan bokningen är slutförd. Enklast är att betala genom Swish till SveKub: 123 688 29 97. Om betalning via Swish inte är möjligt går det även att betala för bokningen genom en "donation" under den ordinarie registreringsprocessen till själva tävlingen. Om inte heller detta går så kan tävlingsarrangören kontaktas för att finna en alternativ lösning. Kom ihåg att ta med egna sovgrejer såsom luftmadrass, kudde och sängkläder!

Accommodation

Competitors and guests will be able to stay the night in a few classrooms in Västra Stenhagenskolan, which is situated about 750 meters (820 yards) from the competition venue. The floor accommodation is only from Saturday to Sunday, and costs 50 SEK per person. Register via this Google-form - https://forms.gle/kudrM9Zj1PbzCy728. Remember that you must pay the fee of 50 SEK per person before your booking is confirmed. The easiest way to pay is through Swish to SveKub: 123 688 29 97. If a payment through Swish is not possible (e.g. foreigners), it is also possible to pay through the "donation" field during the normal registration process to the competition. If also this is not possible, please contact the organizer to find another solution. Remember to bring sleeping gear, such as an air mattress, a pillow and bedding.

If you prefer hotels/hostels, you can find many good options via for example booking.com.

Med Lokaltrafik

Från Uppsala centralstation tar du antingen stadsbuss 5, riktning "Stenhagen", som stannar vid hållplats "Stenhagens centrum" (750m gångväg), alternativt landsbygdsbuss 804, riktning "Örsundsbro Enköping", som stannar vid hållplats "Stenhagen" (450m gångväg). Biljett köper du med UL (zon 1, Uppsala innerstad), alternativt med SL + UL tilläggsbiljett om du endast åker från Storstockholm. Travel

By Car

The address of the venue is Fyrisparksvägen 3, 752 67 Uppsala. There is a big parking lot that is free of charge right by the venue, which you can reach from route 55.

By Train

First, book a train seat to Uppsala central station. Train tickets are most easily booked at www.sj.se. From there, use the local transport tips listed below. Remember that SveKub members travel at an up to 10% discount with SJ, more details can be found at the Sverok website.

By Local Transport

From Uppsala Central Station, take either city bus 5, direction "Stenhagen", that stops at "Stenhagens centrum" (750m from the venue), or bus 804, direction "Örsundsbro Enköping, that stops at "Stenhagen" (450m from the venue). You buy a ticket with UL (zone 1, Uppsala inner city), or alternatively with an SL + UL additional ticket if you only travel from Greater Stockholm. Arlanda

Uppsala is only an 18-minute train ride from Arlanda C, in case you fly in from abroad. If you want to travel from Arlanda to the venue in one go, you can use the same SL + UL ticket on the SL commuter train and the local buses in Uppsala (see UL's website). There are however more trains available, check for example SJ.

Remember, however, that taking the train from Arlanda will result in an extra fee of 130SEK to be paid if you are 18 years or older, resulting in a total fare of 229SEK for adults and 190SEK for 18-19 year olds. If you are travelling on a budget, you can go for the slower UL bus 801, leaving for Uppsala from Arlanda terminal 4. It takes approximately 44 minutes, but costs only 139SEK for adults and 100SEK for children.

Mat

Fyris Park ligger bara några minuter till fots från ett handelscentrum, där du kan hitta Ica Maxi Stormarknad, Willys och Burger King.
Det kommer finnas kyl och mikrovågsugnar i lokalen ifall du har med dig matlådor.

Food

Fyris Park is situated only a few minutes away by foot from a couple grocery stores, which are Ica Maxi Stormarknad and Willys, as well as a Burger King.
There will be a fridge and a few microwaves in the venue in case you bring lunch boxes.
