För att ta del av rabatten är det bara att vara registrerad i SveKubs medlemsregister, sedan anmäler du dig som vanligt. Alla betalar fullt pris till att börja med, och vi betalar tillbaka 25% till de som är medlemmar. Vi verifierar medlemskapet och återbetalar rabatten vid två tillfällen, en gång 24 timmar efter att anmälan öppnat, och en gång när anmälan stängt.
I framtiden hoppas vi kunna ha ett något smidigare system, men anmälningssystemet kan i dagsläget inte ha olika anmälningsavgifter för olika personer.

Vill du också arrangera en tävling?

Du kan också arrangera en tävling i din stad! Det enda kravet är att du har koll på en lokal som hade passat bra för en tävling. Det kan vara allt från matsalar, gymnastiksalar, bygdegårdar, folkets hus och klubb- eller samlingslokaler. Själva tävlingen kan pågå i bara ett par timmar på en vardagskväll eller en hel långhelg, du bestämmer. Därefter kan SveKub hjälpa till med det du inte kan eller vill göra själv, såsom tävlingsschema, budget och hemsida. Mer information om och hur det går till att arrangera en tävling finns här.

SveKub

This competition is organized together with SveKub.

As a member of SveKub, you always have a 25% discount on competitions. The membership is free, but is only available for Swedish citizens.
Read more about becoming a member on our website or become a member away.

To get the discount, you simply need to be registered as a SveKub member. After that, you register as normal and we will verify which competitors are members and which are not.
Everyone pays full price at first, and we will then refund 25% to members. We verify the membership and refund the discount at two occasions, once 24 hours after registration opens, and once when registration has closed.
In the future, we hope to have a slightly more convenient system, but the current registration system can not have different registration fees for different people.

Do you also want to organize a competition?

You can also organize a competition in your city! The only requirement is that you know a venue that would be suitable for a competition. It can be anything from canteens, sport halls, community centers and club or meeting rooms. You decide for how long the competition should run, anything from a couple of hours on a weekday to an entire weekend is a possibility. After that, SveKub can help with what you can't or don't want to do yourself, such as a competition schedule, budget and website. Nya tävlande

Om det här är din första WCA-tävling, välkommen! Det är viktigt att du läser igenom alla flikar här på sidan, eftersom det finns mycket viktig information där.

Om du aldrig tävlat förut bör du ha med ett giltigt ID, till exempel ett pass eller körkort, för att intyga när du är född och din nationalitet. Om den tävlande inte har ett ID kan en förälder bekräfta dessa uppgifter.

På lördag innan 2x2 kommer vi demonstrera hur det går till att tävla, men vi rekommenderar starkt att du även kollar på den här videon så du bättre förstår hur det går till att lösa i tävling. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.

Det är också viktigt att du läser igenom WCA-reglerna så du får en bättre förståelse för vilka olika tidsstraff du kan få på lösningarna, och hur du undviker dem.

Kom ihåg att du bara behöver vara i lokalen när du har någon gren att tävla i, men eftersom schemat kan ändras något under tävlingen rekommenderar vi att du är där minst 20 minuter innan din första gren.

Under hela tävlingen kommer du kunna se live-resultat från WCA Live, där kan du se vilka resultat du fick, och ifall du gick vidare till nästa runda.

New competitors

If this is your first WCA competition, welcome! Make sure to read through all tabs above as there is a lot of important information there.

If you've never competed before, you should bring a valid ID, for example a passport or driver's licence, to verify your birth date and nationality. If the competitor does not have an ID, a parent can confirm this information.

We will have a demonstration showing how the competing process works on Saturday before 2x2, but we highly recommend watching this video to get a good understanding of how solving in competition works. Reading through this guide is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

It is also important that you read through the WCA Regulations so that you are aware of different penalties and how to avoid them.

Remember that you only need to be at the venue when you have an event to compete in, but since the schedule might change slightly throughout the competition, we recommend showing up at least 20 minutes before your first event.

Throughout the competition, you will be able to see live results from WCA Live, and there you can see what results you got and whether or not you proceeded to the next round.

Viktig info

Alla tävande ska ha läst WCA:s Regler. Deltagare förväntas känna till WCA:s reglemente innan man deltar på en officiell tävling. Reglerna finns även översatta till svenska, men tänk på att det är den engleska originalversionen som gäller om det skulle finnas några skillnader.

Vi kommer ha en deltagarintroduktion på lördag morgon för nya deltagare där vi går igenom hur det går till när man tävlar på en officiell WCA-tävling. Vill man redan nu få bättre koll på hur tävlingsproceduren går till, kolla då gärna denna video som visar detta på ett bra sätt. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.

Du måste vara anmäld till tävlingen online för att få tävla! Du kan anmäla dig här.

Alla nya tävlande bör ha med ett giltigt ID. För att få tävla som ny deltagare måste du kunna identifiera dig själv och visa att den information du gav oss när du registrerade dig för den här tävlingen är korrekt. Ett pass är ett bra exempel på ett giltigt ID eftersom det visar all nödvändig information, såsom namn, nationalitet och födelsedatum. Om den tävlande är ung och inte har ett eget ID kan en vårdnadshavare verifiera att uppgifterna stämmer.

Du måste vara redo att tävla när din grupp startar Du behöver bara vara på plats i lokalen under de grenar där du planerar att delta. Du behöver dock vara på plats i lokalen senast 15 minuter innan din första gren ska börja, så du hinner fullfölja incheckningen, och för att vara på den säkra sidan ifall schemat påverkas något under tävlingen.

Fotografering med blixt är förbjudet i hela lokalen! Blixtar är störande för tävlande. Fotografering utan blixt är tillåtet.

Publik måste befinna sig 1,5 meter ifrån tävlingsstationerna och tävlingsområdet Annars finns risken att man stör andra tävlande eller tävlingsproceduren.

Man får inte prata om blandningarna innan man tävlat färdigt i pågående gren Annars finns risken att man blir diskvalificerad.

Håll koll på er e-mail Några dagar innan tävlingen kommer ni få ett deltagarmail där vi kommer ta upp diverse viktig information för deltagare att känna till. I detta mail kommer också eventuella ändringar sedan tävlingen annonserades tas upp. Om det finns annan information som vi snabbt måste kommunicera till deltagare så kommer detta också ske via e-mail, därför är det viktigt att ni håller koll på er e-mail regelbundet.

Important info

All competitors must have read the WCA regulations. Participants are expected to know WCA's regulations before attending an official competition.

We will have a competitor tutorial for new participants on Saturday morning, where we will show how to compete in an official WCA competition. If you want to get a better idea of how the competition works already, please check this video which will show you this. Reading through this guide. is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

You must be registered for this competetiton online in order to compete! You can register here.

All new competitors should bring a valid ID. To be allowed to compete as a new competitor, you need to be able to identify yourself and the information you provided us when you registred for this competition. A passport is a good example of a valid ID since it shows all necessary information, such as name, nationality and date of birth. If the competitor is young and does not have an ID, a parent or guardian can confirm that the information is correct instead.

You must be ready to compete when your group starts. You only need to be present at the venue during the events in which you plan to attend. However, you need to be present at the venue no later than 15 minutes before your first event starts so that you have enough time to complete the chek-in, and also compensate for any slight changes in schedule.

No flash photography in the entire venue! Flash is distracting to the competitors. Pictures without the use of flash are allowed.

Spectators should remain 1,5 meters away from the solving stations and the competition area. Otherwise, you might distract other competitors or disrupt the competition flow.

You are not allowed to talk about the scrambles until the round is done Otherwise, you might get disqualified.

Check your e-mail A few days before the competition, you will receive a participant email where we will address various important information for participants to know. This email will also include any changes made since the competition was announced. If there is any other urgent information which we need to communicate to competitors, then it will be done through e-mail so therefore it is important that you check your e-mail regularly.

Golvförläggning

De som vill kan sova på golvet i tävlingslokalen (Teaterladan) gratis natten till söndagen och måndagen och vid behov natten till tisdagen (beroende på färjor).
Obligatorisk anmälan sker genom detta formulär.

Kom ihåg att ta med dig dina sovgrejer, som kudde, sovsäck och något mjukt att ligga på, till exempel en luftmadrass.

Bed&Breakfast och Tältplats

Det finns möjlighet att boka enkla sovplatser på Gangvide (rum med möjlighet för tre bäddar). Det finns också möjlighet att betala för tältplats. För bokning och prisinformation se Gangvide Farm.

Accommodation

Floor accommodation

Those who want can sleep on the floor at the competition venue (Teaterladan) for free on the night before Sunday, Monday and, if necessary, Tuesday (depending on the time table for the boats).
Compulsory registration takes place through this form.

Remember to bring your sleeping gear, such as a pillow, sleeping bag and something soft to lie on, such as an air mattress.

Simple rooms with space for 3 people are available for rent at Gangvide farm. You can also rent a camping plot. All information and prices are avaliable at Gangvide Farm.

Med Bil

Gotland Open 2023 hålls på Gangvide Farm i När cirka 1 mil söder om Ljugarn på Gotlands östkust! Adressen är När Gangvide 503, 623 48 Stånga. Bilplats på färja kan bokas på Destination Gotland. Det finns gott om parkeringsplats på Gangvide.

Med Färja och buss

Boka först en biljett till Visby på Destination Gotland. Färjorna avgår från Nynäshamn och Oskarshamn. Därefter tar man buss 11 från Visby bussterminal till Etelhem (tar cirka 45 minuter och kostar cirka 40kr). Enklaste sättet att köpa bussbiljett är via appen Gotlands Kollektivtrafik. Mer info på Region Gotland. Vi har möjlighet att hämta i Etelhem (17km därifrån till tävlingen). Då måste man fylla i följande formulär.

NOTE: Book a boat ticket well in advance, especially if you are planning to go by car.

By car

The competition is held at Gangvide Farm on the east coast of Gotland about 10 km south of Ljugarn! Address: När Gangvide 503, 623 48 Stånga. Car ticket for the boat can be booked at Destination Gotland. There's plenty of space for parking at Gangivde Farm.

By boat and bus

Book a ticket to Visby at Destination Gotland. The ferries depart from Nynäshamn and Oskarshamn. From Visby busterminal take bus 11 to Etelhem (takes about 45 min and costs about 40 SEK). The easiest way to book a bus ticket is throught the app Gotlands Kollektivtrafik. You can find more information at Region Gotland We can pick you up from Etelhem and drive you to the venue (17km from Etelhem to Gangvide). If you want to get picked up you need to fill out the following Form
