Esta es una competencia icónica y de gran impacto en la región. Su primera edición se llevo a cabo en 2013. Debido a las restricciones derivadas de la pandemia, detuvo su organización por algunos años. La edición de este año, marca el regreso de esta competencia.
This is an iconic competition with a significant impact on the region. Its first edition took place in 2013. Due to restrictions resulting from the pandemic, it was put on hold for a few years. This year’s edition marks the return of this competition.

The base registration fee for this competition is Q125 (Guatemalan Quetzal).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

Efectuar el pago respectivo, el costo fijo de participación es de Q125.00, incluye participación en cualquiera de las categorías, asi como playera del evento (disponible unicamente si la inscricion se realiza antes del 21 de noviembre)

Posteriormente enviar un correo con fotografía de la boleta de pago y su nombre (como aparece en la WCA) incluyendo su talla de playera, al correo guatemaya.op@gmail.com
Luego de registrarse en la página del torneo y enviar el correo deben esperar respuesta y revisar si su nombre aparece en la lista de registros aceptados.
*Para las personas provenientes de otros países, registrarse y enviar un correo para coordinar el pago.

Next you must send an email with a photo of the receipt and name (as it appears in the WCA) and shirt size to guatemaya.op@gmail.com
After registering and sending the email, you have to wait for reply, and then check if your name appears on the accepted registrations list.

Rules
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
Advancement Condition
The number of competitors shown as advancing to the next round is the planned maximum. The actual number may be lower if there are fewer competitors than expected, or if there are ties at the boundary.
