There is no mask policy at the venue, but we still encourage anyone that wishes to wear one to do so. If the situation regarding COVID-19 worsens, masks may become a requirement closer to the competition.
How to Change/Cancel Your Registration
Competitors can change or cancel by emailing the organization team with the following information:
1. Intent to change/cancel registration
2. Desired changes to registration
3. Name (and WCA ID, if applicable) of the competitor.Competitors can also modify their registration through the Register tab.
In the event that a competitor cancels their registration, they will only receive a 75% refund ($18.75 USD).
The deadline to change/cancel your registration is Feburary 4th , 2023, 5:00 PM Mountain Time.
Waitlist Procedure
If registration fills up, we will place competitors on a waitlist. In the event a competitor drops from the competition, competitors will be accepted from the waitlist in the order we receive payment. Competitors can be accepted from the waitlist until Feburary 4th, 2022 at 5:00 PM MST. You will receive a full refund if you are still on the waitlist by then.

The base registration fee for this competition is $25 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 75% of your registration fee.

Judiging and Running
Before the competition, you will receive a card/nametag with personalized information detailing your events. Competitors will be asked to help when asked, will include running, judging, and scrambling.
Covid Safety
Currently, there are no restrictions in place for the adams county area, however feel free to wear a mask if you want. There is also no guest limit for competition, however be mindful of other people and exercise caution when bringing more than the usual amount of guests.

This event is open to cubers of any age and experience. For those of you new to cubing, welcome! We just ask that you know a couple things before coming to compete...

Here are some frequently asked questions:
Q: Are there any restrictions on competing?
A: Nope! Anyone of any skill can compete in this competition, including first-timers. As long as you know how to solve the cube, go ahead and sign up!
Q: Do spectators have to pay?
A: No! All spectators are let into building for free.
Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: Yes! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. We heavily discourage borrowing or sharing other people's cubes at the competition.
Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page a couple of days after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to wca.link/live to find information about current events.
Q: Why am I not on the registration list yet?
A: When you register, make sure you have paid the registration fee. Afterwards, your registration must then be manually accepted, so please wait at least 24 hours before contacting us. You should receive an email when your registration is accepted.
Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can cube!
Q: Are there age divisions?
A: No! All competitors are on an equal playing field.

The nearest airport is the Denver International Airport. With tolls, the airport is about 35 minutes away by car, or 45 without tolls.
Food
There isn't very many food options in Strasburg alone, so you are going to have to drive to the neighboring town (Bennett) to find any popular chains.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
