Information

The competition weekend in Hawai'i continues with an amazing side events competition!

  • It is recommended you register as soon as possible to save a spot.
  • Be sure to familiarize yourself with the WCA regulations. If this is your first official competition, this video will provide you with most of the information you need.

This competition will be specializing in niche events and will not have 3x3 or any traditional events. If you would like to sign up for a competition involving those events, please check out Li'ili'i a 'Ike Maka 2024, happening on January 27th, the day before.

There is a competitor limit of 32 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $5 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

Payment:

Upon registering you will receive an email stating “Registration Pending: Honolulu Nui a Makapo 2024”. This does NOT mean that you are on the registration list. Competitors will not be approved until payment has been made.

Please ensure you have paid the registration fees via Stripe on the register page. Your registration is not complete and will not be processed until you have paid the registration fee. Contact the organizational team if you encounter an issue.

Waiting List:

  • Once the competitor limit has filled, the waiting list will be opened.
  • You must pay the registration fee to be added to the waiting list.
  • New registrations will be added to a waitlist and sorted in the order of payment.
  • Waitlisted competitors will only be added to the competition if an existing competitors withdraws.
  • All competitors still on the waiting list after Friday, January 19, 2024 at 6:00 PM HST will be removed and provided with a full refund.
  • You may enquire about your position on the waiting list by contacting the organizational team.

Deleting Registration/Refunds:

  • If you can no longer make the competition you may request a refund.
  • To receive a full refund you must contact the organizational team by Friday, January 19, 2024 at 6:00 PM HST.
  • Withdrawing enables us to maximize attendance and for competitors on the waiting list to attend.

You may change the events you are registered for by contacting the organizational team by Friday, January 19, 2024 at 6:00 PM HST. It is also acceptable to not show up for any event you do not wish to compete in.
