Hublife Speedcubing 2025 is a speedcubing competition that will be held at Hublife - Taman Anggrek Residence, Jakarta. It will be held for 2 days and is open to the public with an extra unofficial event of 3-Man Mini Guildford.

Hublife Speedcubing 2025 merupakan kompetisi speedcubing yang akan diselenggarakan di Hublife - Taman Anggrek Residence, Jakarta dengan event tambahan (unofficial) yaitu 3-Man Mini Guildford. Event ini akan dilaksanakan selama 2 hari dan terbuka untuk umum.

Mini Guildford Region Cup

Rules and Format

The Mini Guildford Region Cup is a team-based cubing competition designed to test speed, accuracy, and teamwork across multiple puzzles. The competition is structured as a single-elimination knockout tournament, meaning teams have only one chance per round.

Competition Rules:

Team Composition
Each team consists of 3 competitors, where teams are divided based on their regions. There will be 16 teams in total consisting of:

10 teams from the 5 regions of Jakarta (2 teams from North, South, West, East, and Central Jakarta).

6 teams from outside Jakarta (e.g., Depok, Bekasi, Tangerang, Bogor).

Puzzle Lineup :
Each team must solve the following puzzles in a single match:
3x3, 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, Megaminx, Pyraminx, Skewb, Square-1, Clock and 3x3 One-Handed (OH).

The order in which the puzzles are solved is decided by the team before the match. The time limit will be 3 minutes.

Match Procedure:
One Stackmat Timer per Team where each team uses only one Stackmat Timer for all three competitors. Both teams start their first puzzle inspection simultaneously. 1 competitor will start and the other 2 competitors in the team will start simultaneously, the last person solving will be the person stopping the timer. The first team who completes all puzzles the fastest wins.

Knockout Format :
The tournament is single elimination, where teams compete in one match per round. The losing team is immediately eliminated, and the winning team advances to the next round. The process continues until a champion is crowned.

Demo Session :
A demo session will be conducted before the competition begins to explain the rules, ensuring all competitors understand the process. If a competitor cannot participate, the team may notify the organizers in advance to request a substitute from the same region. Teams with missing members at match time will be disqualified and marked as Walk-Out (WO).


Mini Guildford Region Cup (Versi Bahasa Indonesia)

Aturan dan Format

Mini Guildford adalah kompetisi cubing berbasis tim yang dirancang untuk menguji kecepatan, akurasi, dan kerja tim dalam berbagai puzzle. Kompetisi ini disusun sebagai turnamen sistem gugur eliminasi tunggal, yang berarti tim hanya memiliki satu peluang per babak.

Peraturan Kompetisi:

Komposisi Tim
Setiap tim terdiri dari 3 peserta yang mana tim dibagi berdasarkan wilayahnya. Total akan ada 16 tim yang terdiri dari:

10 tim dari 5 wilayah Jakarta (2 tim dari Jakarta Utara, Selatan, Barat, Timur, dan Pusat).

6 tim dari luar Jakarta (misal, Depok, Bekasi, Tanggerang, Bogor).

Susunan puzzle :
Setiap tim harus memecahkan puzzle berikut dalam satu pertandingan:
3x3, 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, Megaminx, Pyraminx, Skewb, Square-1, Jam dan 3x3 Satu Tangan (OH).

Urutan pemecahan puzzle ditentukan oleh tim sebelum pertandingan. Batas waktunya adalah 3 menit.

Prosedur Pertandingan:
Satu Stackmat Timer per Tim dimana setiap tim hanya menggunakan satu Stackmat Timer untuk ketiga peserta. Kedua tim memulai inspeksi puzzle pertama mereka secara bersamaan. 1 peserta akan memulai dan 2 peserta lainnya dalam tim akan memulai secara bersamaan, orang terakhir yang menyelesaikan adalah orang yang menghentikan timer. Tim pertama yang menyelesaikan semua puzzle paling cepat adalah pemenangnya.

Format eliminasi :
Turnamen ini merupakan eliminasi tunggal, di mana tim berkompetisi dalam satu pertandingan per babak. Tim yang kalah langsung tersingkir, dan tim pemenang melaju ke babak berikutnya. Prosesnya berlanjut hingga seorang juara dinobatkan.

Sesi Demo :
Sesi demo akan dilakukan sebelum kompetisi dimulai untuk menjelaskan peraturan, memastikan semua peserta memahami prosesnya. Jika peserta tidak dapat berpartisipasi, tim dapat memberitahu penyelenggara terlebih dahulu untuk meminta pengganti dari wilayah yang sama. Tim yang anggotanya hilang pada waktu pertandingan akan didiskualifikasi dan ditandai sebagai Walk-Out (WO).

On the spot registrations will close 15 minutes before the event starts
Day 1 (22 March 2025) - Maximum time for OTS registration 3.30 PM (Pyraminx), 4.30 PM (Skewb)
Day 2 (23 March 2025) - Maximum time for OTS registration 10.30 AM (3x3), 1.15 PM (2x2)

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
