All the participants are requested to volunteer in the competition and every participant (except newcomers) will be assigned to a particular event they have to either judge, scramble, etc for the group/event.

There is a competitor limit of 75 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is ₹800 (Indian Rupee).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

- It is mandatory to pay the registration fees and also register on WCA to complete the full registration process. If you do not complete either of these steps, your registrations will not be considered

We wanted to let you know this event is perfectly fine for cubers of ANY age and experience. We just ask you know a couple things before coming to compete...

FAQs
Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: YES! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. This means you should bring your own cube.
Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can and should cube!
Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page within a week after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to https://live.worldcubeassociation.org/ to find information about current events. This is also where you will find information about upcoming rounds of events. Remember, the results are entered by a human so please be patient if you do not see your results immediately.
Q: Are there age divisions?
A: Nope! All competitors compete together.
Q: I want to attend, or I have friends/family who want to attend, but not compete. Do they need to pay as well?
A: No. All spectators are free to view the competition at no cost. There is payment only to compete. Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, we request all of you to keep the number of guests to a minimum or not bring anyone along.
Q: Can I have fun at this event?
A: YES! Cubing is amazing, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the competition!

Food can be bought from various shops/dhabas inside and outside the institute. Also, food can be ordered from Zomato.
Take the local train to Kalyani (KYI) station. Then, take a bus/auto to 'Gate number 7'. They will drop you at Gate Number 7, IISER Kolkata.
Go to the gate and go over the small bridge which will be on the right. Keep walking until you reach a huge building with glass walls. This is the Main Auditorium. Just to the left of the auditorium will be building with the sign 'PC Ray Lecture Hall Complex' written. Go inside the building and keep walking forward until you see a lift. Take the lift to the first floor. The room diagonally left as seen from the lift is the competition venue.
If you face any problems, ask the volunteers/guards for directions to the venue.
Live results of the competition will be available on WCA Live during and after the competition. This page will be updated as the competition draws closer.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
