- Information
- Make sure to be available at the venue at least 15 minutes before your event starts. Late entries won't be allowed to participate.
- Attend the tutorial session if you're new to WCA competitions or unfamiliar with its rules.
- Bring a government ID card for verification if it's your first time participating in a WCA competition.
- Participants are expected to volunteer and will be assigned with roles as judges, scramblers, or runners, with the exception of newcomers.

There is a competitor limit of 90 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is ₹600 (Indian Rupee).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of ₹800 (Indian Rupee).
Any spectator can attend for free.

Q: Do I need to bring my own cube to compete?
A: Absolutely! Each participant is responsible for bringing their own cube to compete.
Q: What is the typical age range of competitors at these events?
A: While all ages are welcome, our competitors generally range between 8 and 20 years old. However, please don't let age restrict your participation. Cubing knows no bounds, and we have had participants as young as 5 years old solving cubes in previous competitions.
Q: How can I access the results?
A: All competition results will be posted on the WCA page within a week after the event concludes. For real-time updates on current events and upcoming rounds, visit live.worldcubeassociation.org. Please note that results are manually entered, so if you don't see your results immediately, please be patient.
Q: Are there age divisions for the competition?
A: No, all competitors will compete together regardless of age.
Q: I want to attend, or I have friends/family who want to attend, but not compete. Do they need to pay as well?
A: No. Spectators are welcome to view the competition free of charge.
Q: Can I have fun at this event?

Indus Valley World School (IVWS)
For those planning to travel via the Sealdah to Krishnanagar Junction route, we suggest taking the following steps to ensure a smooth journey.
First, make your way to Dum Dum Junction station. From there, proceed to the nearby Dum Dum Junction Metro station. .
Board the metro train heading towards Kavi Subhash Metro station. The journey from Dum Dum Junction to Kavi Subhash typically takes approximately 50 minutes.
Once you arrive at Kavi Subhash Metro station, you can easily hire a rickshaw or an auto-rickshaw to transport you directly to the Indus Valley World School. These local modes of transportation are readily available and will swiftly take you to your destination.
At IVWS, you will see sign boards which direct you towards the school ensuring that you are arriving near the venue.
If you wish to take a public transport then take a bus till Hiland Park, walk till Peerless Hospital and you will find Totos readily available.

Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a competition. There are three main volunteer positions: Judges, Scramblers, and Runners. We encourage all participants, especially those who have attended previous competitions, to actively contribute as volunteers to make this event a huge success.

You have two convenient options for acquiring food during the competition. Firstly, you can directly purchase both veg and non veg meals from the canteen located within IVWS itself, you can avail yourself of the delivery services provided by Swiggy or Zomato which you will have to pick up at the main gate of the school.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
