Iglú Open Tijuana 2024 es la decimotercera competencia oficial realizada en la ciudad de Tijuana en el estado de Baja California

Este evento es reconocida como una competencia oficial de la Asociación Mundial de Cubos. Por lo tanto, todos los competidores deben estar familiarizados y entender el reglamento de la WCA antes de la competencia.

Iglú Open Tijuana 2024 is the thirteenth official competition held in the city of Tijuana in the state of Baja California

This event is recognized as an official competition of the World Cube Association. Therefore, all competitors must be familiar with and understand the WCA regulations prior to the competition.

There is a competitor limit of 50 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $220 (Mexican Peso).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

Registrations are approved manually, so your registration will not be approved immediately, but please rest assured that we follow approval on a first-come, first-served basis.

Para poder participar en la competencia, lee detenidamente toda la información en la web y realiza TODOS los pasos siguientes:

1.- Inicia sesión o crea una cuenta
Si tienes dudas, puedes ver el siguiente Video Tutorial

-Si es tu primera competencia oficial, puedes saltar al siguiente punto.
-Si ya has asistido a otra competencia oficial y ya tienes vinculada tu cuenta, puedes saltar al siguiente punto.
-Si ya has participado en otra competencia oficial pero no tienes vinculado tu WCAId, realiza los pasos del siguiente vídeo Como reclamar WCAid

2.- En la Pestaña de Registro selecciona tus categorías y cantidad de acompañantes

3.- Realiza el pago de $220 MXN* ( docientos veinte pesos MXN) mediante Stripe (se requiere tarjeta de débito o crédito). Tu registro no está completo hasta que hayas realizado el pago

*El registro se llevará a cabo del 7 de julio al 4 de agosto del 2024.
*No se aceptarán registros in situ.

5.- Corrobora que aparezcas en la pestaña de Competidores

Permanece atento a tu email (revisa la bandeja de spam) por cualquier aviso importante.
Si descubres que no puedes asistir a la competencia después de registrarte, contáctanos por correo bajacubingoficial@gmail.com para reembolsar el porcentaje de registro y asignar ese lugar a otro competidor.

-If this is your first official competition, you can skip to next step.
-If you already have your WCAid connected to your WCA Account, you can skip to next step.
-If you have already participated in another official competition, but your WCAid is not connected to your WCA Account. You can claim your WCAid following the next video HOW TO CLAIM WCAid

2.- In the Register tab, choose your events and guests

3.- Pay the registration fee $ 220 MXN* ( two hundred and twenty pesos MXN) by Stripe. Here your registration is not completed until your registration fee has been paid

*Register will take place on July 7th and ends on August 4th.
Registrations will not be accepted on site.

4.- Check that you appear in the Competitors tab

Congratulations!!! Your registration is completed.

Verify your email frecuently (including spam or junk email) for any important news.
If you find out that you cannot make it to the competition after registration, please contact us by email bajacubingoficial@gmail.com so that we can maximize attendance.

ANY PAYMENT MADE BEFORE THE OPENING OF REGISTRATION OR WITHOUT HAVING RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM THE ORGANIZING TEAM WILL BE CONSIDERED AS A DONATION IN ITS ENTIRETY

INFORMACIÓN DE LA LISTA DE ESPERA:

Si se ha alcanzado el límite de 50 competidores, aún puedes registrarte y pagar la cuota de la competencia para asegurar un lugar en la lista de espera.
Hasta el 12 de agosto, cualquier competidor puede cancelar su registro y permitir que la primera persona en la lista de espera ocupe su lugar.
Después del 12 de agosto se les eliminará de la lista de espera y todos lo competidores en ella recibirán un rembolso del 100%.
Estar en la lista de espera no asegura de ninguna manera obtener un lugar en la competencia. Ningún competidor en lista de espera podrá participar los días de la competencia.
Si estás en lista de espera puedes solicitar el reembolso del 100% de tu pago en cualquier momento por correo.
No se aceptarán registros en el lugar

WAITING LIST INFORMATION:

If the limit of 50 competitors has been reached, you can still register and pay the competition fee to secure a spot on the waitlist.
Until August 12th, any competitor can cancel their registration and allow the first person on the waitlist to take their place.
After August 12th, you will be removed from the waitlist and all competitors on the waitlist will receive a 100% refund.
Being on the waiting list does not in any way guarantee obtaining a place in the competition. No competitor on the waiting list will be able to participate on the days of the competition.
If you are on the waiting list, you can request a 100% refund of your payment at any time by email.

The best known Avenue and of greatest historical interest in the city of Tijuana. “La Revu” as it is commonly called, is an urban, artistic, gastronomic and entertainment center. Here you can find the famous arch and the zebra donkey to take a souvenir photo.

2. Plaza Santa Cecilia

Uno de los espacios más antiguos de Tijuana que nos envuelve en un ambiente mexicano, lleno de color y folklor. En este callejón podrás disfrutar ricos platillos mexicanos, tequila, música en vivo con mariachi, norteño y banda, además de presenciar espectáculos artísticos.	One of the oldest spaces in Tijuana that surrounds us in a Mexican atmosphere, full of color and folklore. 3. Caesar’s Restaurant

El hogar de la auténtica “Ensalada Caesar’s” creada en 1926 por Caesar Cardini. Este restaurante se ubica sobre la Avenida Revolución y es un lugar lleno de historia y trascendencia, por años ha conquistado a sus comensales con exquisitos platillos y un cálido servicio. ¡Tienes que visitarlo!	The home of the authentic “Caesar’s Salad” created in 1926 by Caesar Cardini. This restaurant is located on Revolución Avenue and is a place full of history and significance. 4. El Cecut

Difunde y promueve el arte y las actividades culturales en la región, es uno de los espacios más importantes de su tipo en Baja California. Cuenta con salas de lectura, museos, galerías, jardín botánico, acuario, sala de espectáculos y el “Domo IMAX” (el emblema más reconocido de Tijuana).	It disseminates and promotes art and cultural activities in the region, it is one of the most important spaces of its kind in Baja California. It has reading rooms, museums, galleries, botanical garden, aquarium, performance hall and the “IMAX Dome” (the most recognized emblem of Tijuana).

5. El Faro/Malecón Playas de Tijuana

Llamado por algunos como “La esquina de Latinoamérica”, este sitio es uno de los más visitados por turistas ya que aquí comienza el muro divisorio de México con Estados Unidos.	Called by some as “The corner of Latin America”, this site is one of the most visited by tourists since the dividing wall between Mexico and the United States begins here.

8. Estadio Caliente y Estadio Chevron

El Estadio Caliente de los Xolos de Tijuana es una visita obligatoria, vive la pasión de uno de sus partidos, entre semana puedes comer en su restaurante desde donde se puede apreciar el estadio y la ciudad. El Estadio Chevron, la casa de los Toros de Tijuana, donde en cada partido se vive una gran fiesta con los aficionados del béisbol	The Caliente Stadium of the Xolos of Tijuana is a must-see, experience the passion of one of their matches, during the week you can eat at their restaurant from where you can see the stadium and the city. Chevron Stadium, the home of the Tijuana Toros, where every game there is a great party with baseball fans


La sede del evento es CUT Universidad, con ubicación en la Zona Centro. Si eres residente, es posible llegar en transporte público.	The venue of the event is CUT Universidad, located in Zona Centro. If you are a resident, it is possible to get there by public transport.


Si nos visitas desde otra ciudad u otro estado, encontrarás de mayor utilidad el uso de transporte privado, como Uber o Didi. La duración del trayecto en la plataforma Uber desde el Aeropuerto Internacional de Tijuana hasta la sede del torneo es de entre 20 y 30 minutos, dependiendo del tráfico local; el costo aproximado en la misma plataforma oscila entre los 150 y 200 pesos, aproximadamente.	If you visit us from another city or another state, you will find it more useful to use private transportation, such as Uber or Didi. The duration of the ride on the Uber platform from the Tijuana International Airport to the tournament venue is between 20 and 30 minutes, depending on local traffic; the approximate cost on the same platform ranges between approximately 150 and 200 pesos.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
