Information

Speedcubing returns to O'ahu with a special 3-day series WCA competition! Choose between Kailua Li'i Pōʻakahi, Pōʻalua, or Pōʻakolu for three different set of events to compete in!

  • It is recommended you register as soon as possible to save a spot.
  • Be sure to familiarize yourself with the WCA regulations. If this is your first official competition, this video will provide you with most of the information you need.
  • If you are a first time competitor, it is highly encouraged to be present for the competitor tutorial at 4:30 PM.

You may only be allowed to compete in one of the three competitions in the Kailua Li'i Series. If you register for more than one competition, only your most recent registration will be accepted.

This competition is part of the Kailua Li'i 2024 Competition Series. Other competitions in this Series are: Note: You can submit a registration for all competitions in a Series, but only one of those registrations can be confirmed and accepted. You will only be allowed to compete in one of the Series competitions!
There is a competitor limit of 20 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $20 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 75% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of $20 (United States Dollar).
Any spectator can attend for free.

Payment:

Upon registering you will receive an email stating “Registration Pending: Kailua Liʻi Pōʻakahi 2024”. This does NOT mean that you are on the registration list. Competitors will not be approved until payment has been made.

Please ensure you have paid the registration fees via Stripe on the register page. Your registration is not complete and will not be processed until you have paid the registration fee. Contact the organizational team if you encounter an issue.

Waiting List:

  • Once the competitor limit has filled, the waiting list will be opened.
  • You must pay the registration fee to be added to the waiting list.
  • New registrations will be added to a waitlist and sorted in the order of payment.
  • Waitlisted competitors will only be added to the competition if an existing competitors withdraws.
  • All competitors still on the waiting list after Friday, August 2, 2024 at 5:00 PM HST will be removed and provided with a full refund.
  • You may enquire about your position on the waiting list by contacting the organizational team.

Deleting Registration/Refunds:

  • If you can no longer make the competition you may request a refund.
  • To receive a partial refund of 75% you must contact the organizational team by Friday, August 2, 2024 at 5:00 PM HST.
  • Withdrawing enables us to maximize attendance and for competitors on the waiting list to attend.

You may change the events you are registered for by contacting the organizational team by Friday, August 2, 2024 at 5:00 PM HST. It is also acceptable to not show up for any event you do not wish to compete in.

You may only be allowed to compete in one of the three competitions in the Kailua Li'i Series. If you register for more than one competition, only your most recent registration will be accepted.

Travis Dumaran won with an average of 10.07 seconds in the 3x3x3 Cube event. Jaidon Poraminthara Lin (เจเดิ้น ปรมินทร์ หลิน) finished second (11.90) and Taitum Tanouye finished third (12.33).
