För att ta del av rabatten är det bara att vara registrerad i SveKubs medlemsregister, sedan anmäler du dig som vanligt. Alla betalar fullt pris till att börja med, och vi betalar tillbaka 25% till de som är medlemmar. Vi verifierar medlemskapet och återbetalar rabatten vid två tillfällen, en gång 24 timmar efter att anmälan öppnat, och en gång när anmälan stängt.
I framtiden hoppas vi kunna ha ett något smidigare system, men anmälningssystemet kan i dagsläget inte ha olika anmälningsavgifter för olika personer.

Vill du också arrangera en tävling?

Du kan också arrangera en tävling i din stad! Det enda kravet är att du har koll på en lokal som hade passat bra för en tävling. Det kan vara allt från matsalar, gymnastiksalar, bygdegårdar, folkets hus och klubb- eller samlingslokaler. Själva tävlingen kan pågå i bara ett par timmar på en vardagskväll eller en hel långhelg, du bestämmer. Därefter kan SveKub hjälpa till med det du inte kan eller vill göra själv, såsom tävlingsschema, budget och hemsida. Mer information om och hur det går till att arrangera en tävling finns här.

SveKub

This competition is organized together with SveKub.

As a member of SveKub, you always have a 25% discount on competitions. The membership is free, but is only available for Swedish citizens.
Read more about becoming a member on our website or register right away.

To get the discount, you simply need to be registered as a SveKub member. After that, you register as normal and we will verify which competitors are members and which are not.
Everyone pays full price at first, and we will then refund 25% to members. We verify the membership and refund the discount at two occasions, once 24 hours after registration opens, and once when registration has closed.
In the future, we hope to have a slightly more convenient system, but the current registration system can not have different registration fees for different people.

Do you also want to organize a competition?

You can also organize a competition in your city! The only requirement is that you know a venue that would be suitable for a competition. It can be anything from canteens, sport halls, community centers and club or meeting rooms. You decide for how long the competition should run, anything from a couple of hours on a weekday to an entire weekend is a possibility. After that, SveKub can help with what you can't or don't want to do yourself, such as a competition schedule, budget and website. Viktig info

Alla tävande ska ha läst WCA:s Regler. Deltagare förväntas känna till WCA:s reglemente innan man deltar på en officiell tävling. Reglerna finns även översatta till svenska, men tänk på att det är den engleska originalversionen som gäller om det skulle finnas några skillnader.

Vi kommer ha en deltagarintroduktion på lördag morgon för nya deltagare där vi går igenom hur det går till när man tävlar på en officiell WCA-tävling. Vill man redan nu få bättre koll på hur tävlingsproceduren går till, kolla då gärna denna video som visar detta på ett bra sätt. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.

Alla nya tävlande bör ha med ett giltigt ID. För att få tävla som ny deltagare måste du kunna identifiera dig själv och visa att den information du gav oss när du registrerade dig för den här tävlingen är korrekt. Ett pass är ett bra exempel på ett giltigt ID eftersom det visar all nödvändig information, såsom namn, nationalitet och födelsedatum.

Du måste vara redo att tävla när din grupp startar Du behöver vara på plats i lokalen under de grenar där du planerar att delta. Du behöver dock vara på plats i lokalen senast 20 minuter innan din första gren ska börja, så du hinner fullfölja registreringen. Vi rekommenderar dock alltid att ni är på plats i lokalen minst 20 minuter innan er nästa gren, då schemat kan variera något jämfört med vad som först var planerat.

Fotografering med blixt är förbjudet i hela lokalen! Blixtar är störande för tävlande. Fotografering utan blixt är tillåtet.

Publik måste befinna sig 1,5 meter ifrån tävlingsstationerna och tävlingsområdet Annars finns risken att man stör andra tävlande eller tävlingsproceduren.

Man får inte prata om blandningarna innan man tävlat färdigt i pågående gren Annars finns risken att man blir diskvalificerad.

Håll koll på er e-mail Några dagar innan tävlingen kommer ni få ett deltagarmail där vi kommer ta upp diverse viktig information för deltagare att känna till. I detta mail kommer också eventuella ändringar sedan tävlingen annonserades tas upp. Om det finns annan information som vi snabbt måste kommunicera till deltagare så kommer detta också ske via e-mail, därför är det viktigt att ni håller koll på er e-mail regelbundet.

Important info

All competitors must have read the WCA regulations. Participants are expected to know WCA's regulations before attending an official competition.

We will have a competitor tutorial for new participants on Saturday morning, where we will show how to compete in an official WCA competition. If you want to get a better idea of how the competition works already, please check this video which will show you this. Reading through this guide. is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

You must be registered for this competetiton online in order to compete! You can register here.

All new competitors should bring a valid ID. To be allowed to compete as a new competitor, you need to be able to identify yourself and the information you provided us when you registred for this competition. A passport is a good example of a valid ID since it shows all necessary information, such as name, nationality and date of birth.

You must be ready to compete when your group starts. You need to be present at the venue during the events in which you plan to attend. However, you need to be present at the venue no later than 20 minutes before your first event starts so that you have enough time to complete the registration. It is however always recommended to be at the venue at least 20 minutes before your next event, since the schedule may differ slightly from what was previously announced.

No flash photography in the entire venue! Flash is distracting to the competitors. Pictures without the use of flash are allowed.

Spectators should remain 1.5 meters away from the solving stations and the competition area. Otherwise, you might distract other competitors or disrupt the competition flow.

You are not allowed to talk about the scrambles until the round is done Otherwise, you might get disqualified.

Check your e-mail A few days before the competition, you will receive a participant email where we will address various important information for participants to know. This email will also include any changes made since the competition was announced. If there is any other urgent information which we need to communicate to competitors, then it will be done through e-mail so therefore it is important that you check your e-mail regularly.

Nya tävlande

Om det här är din första WCA-tävling, välkommen! Det är viktigt att du läser igenom alla flikar här på sidan, eftersom det finns mycket viktig information där.

Om du aldrig tävlat förut bör du ha med ett giltigt ID, till exempel ett pass eller körkort, för att intyga när du är född och din nationalitet. Om den tävlande inte har ett ID kan en förälder bekräfta dessa uppgifter.

På lördag innan 2x2 kommer vi demonstrera hur det går till att tävla, men vi rekommenderar starkt att du även kollar på den här videon så du bättre förstår hur det går till att lösa i tävling. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.

Det är också viktigt att du läser igenom WCA-reglerna så du får en bättre förståelse för vilka olika tidsstraff du kan få på lösningarna, och hur du undviker dem.

Kom ihåg att du bara behöver vara i lokalen när du har någon gren att tävla i, men eftersom schemat kan ändras något under tävlingen rekommenderar vi att du är där minst 15 minuter innan din första gren.

Under hela tävlingen kommer du kunna se live-resultat från WCA Live, där kan du se vilka resultat du fick, och ifall du gick vidare till nästa runda.

New competitors

If this is your first WCA competition, welcome! Make sure to read through all tabs above as there is a lot of important information there.

If you've never competed before, you should bring a valid ID, for example a passport or driver's licence, to verify your birth date and nationality. If the competitor does not have an ID, a parent can confirm this information.

We will have a demonstration showing how the competing process works on Saturday before 2x2, but we highly recommend watching this video to get a good understanding of how solving in competition works. Reading through this guide is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

It is also important that you read through the WCA Regulations so that you are aware of different penalties and how to avoid them.

Remember that you only need to be at the venue when you have an event to compete in, but since the schedule might change slightly throughout the competition, we recommend showing up at least 15 minutes before your first event.

Throughout the competition, you will be able to see live results from WCA Live, and there you can see what results you got and whether or not you proceeded to the next round.

Med Tåg

Du kan boka biljett till Kalmar C och därifrån ta bussen (mer om det nedan). Biljetter för resor till Kalmar från hela Sverige bokas enklast på SJ:s hemsida. Flixbus kan också vara ett alternativ med deras linje från Kalmar, längs östkusten, hela vägen upp till Stockholm och Arlanda.

Med Lokaltrafik

Från Kalmar C tar du buss 401 mot Lindsdal och kliver av vid Lindsdal centrum. Därifrån är det cirka 10 min promenad till lokalen. Stadsbussen avgår var 10:e-20:e minut även på helger.

Inom Kalmar Län har Kalmar länstrafik en app där du kan se hur du enklast tar dig dit. Denna app kan även användas för att köpa biljetter.

Med Flyg

Boka biljett till Kalmar Öland Airport och ta därifrån buss 402 mot Kalmar C (du kan gå av vid Malmen, Tullslätten eller Kalmar C). Efter det kan du ta 401 enligt ovan.

Travel

By Car

The adress of the venue is Hovstigen 16, 393 65 Kalmar. There is free parking in front of the venue.

By Train

You can book a ticket to Kalmar C and then take the bus (more about busses beneath). Tickets for trips to Kalmar from all over Sweden are most easily booked on SJ's website. Flixbus can also be an alternative with their line from Kalmar, along the east coast, all the way up to Stockholm and Arlanda airport.

Remember that members of SveKub travel with up to 10% discount at SJ, more information is available on Sverok's website.

By Public Transport

From Kalmar C, take bus 401 towards Lindsdal and get off at Lindsdal centrum. From there, it is around a 10 minutes walk to the venue. This city bus leaves about 3-6 times an hour even on weekends.

In Kalmar County, "Kalmar County Traffic" (Kalmar länstrafik) has an app where you can tell you the easiest way of getting to the venue, as well as buy tickets.

By Air

Book a ticket to Kalmar Öland Airport and from there take the 402 bus towards Kalmar C (you can get off at Malmen, Tullslätten or Kalmar C). After that, take bus 401 as the description above.

Boende

På denna tävling kommer det tyvärr ej vara tillåtet att sova på golvet i lokalen under helgen. Ta gärna hjälp av tipsen för att hitta ett annat boende nedan.

Hotell

Enklast är det att bo i Kalmar stad om det inte går att sova i lokalen. Du kan antingen ta buss 401 från Lindsdal centrum till Kalmar C eller Tullslätten beroende på hotell eller åka bil via Lindsdalsvägen och sedan Norra vägen. Här är hotellen du kan välja mellan i centrum.

Accommodation

You will unfortunately not be able to sleep on the floor of the venue for this competition. Feel free to use the tips below to find another accommodation for the weekend.

Hotels

It is probably easiest to sleep in Kalmar city if it isn't possible to sleep over in the venue. You can either take bus 401 from Lindsdal centrum to Kalmar C or Tullslätten depending on the hotel, or you can drive with the car through Lindsdalsvägen and then Norra vägen. Here are the hotels you can choose from in the city center.

Mat

Pizzabutik Saloniki och Pizzeria Bella Kalmar ligger lite mindre än 10 min promenad från lokalen. Om du inte vill ha pizza kan du köpa något annat på ICA Supermarket Lindsdal som också ligger i samma område.

Food

Pizza place Saloniki and Pizzeria Bella Kalmar are a bit less than a 10 minute walk away from the venue. If you don't want pizza you can buy something else at ICA Supermarket Lindsdal that is also is in the same area as the pizza restaurants.
