Νέοι συμμετέχοντες

Εάν αυτός είναι ο πρώτος σας διαγωνισμός, τότε είναι σημαντικό να έχετε διαβάσει τους κανονισμούς. Οι κανόνες είναι πολλοί, συνεπώς, αν δεν τους θυμάστε όλους, δεν πειράζει. Υπάρχει όμως ένα βίντεο το οποίο προτείνουμε όλοι να το δείτε πριν συμμετάσχετε. Τέλος, κατά την εκκίνηση του διαγωνισμού πρόκειται να γίνει μία μικρή επεξήγηση των κανόνων. Μην το χάσετε.

Οι νέοι συμμετέχοντες πρέπει να φέρουν μαζί τους ταυτότητα ή διαβατήριο ή Ληξιαρχική πράξη γέννησης ή κάποιο επίσημο έγγραφο στο οποίο θα αναγράφεται η ημερομηνία γέννησης και η χώρα την οποία θα εκπροσωπούν.

Πληροφορίες για κάθε διαγωνιζόμενο

• Παρακαλούμε βοηθήστε την διαδικασία όντας κριτής. Για να λειτουργήσει ομαλά ένας διαγωνισμός πρέπει όλοι να βοηθούμε και να συμμετέχουμε ενεργά. Εάν δείτε κάποια θέση κριτή άδεια, μην διστάσετε να την γεμίσετε. Εάν σας ζητηθεί να αναλάβετε λόγο κριτή και αρνηθείτε, μπορεί να αποβληθείτε από τον διαγωνισμό (κανονισμός 1e2). Επίσης, εάν είστε γονιός ή καλεσμένος κάποιου συμμετέχοντα και πάλι μπορείτε να βοηθήσετε, είναι πολύ απλό.
  
• Πάζλ από ανθρακονήματα δεν επιτρέπονται. Επίσης, διαβάστε τους κανόνες για τα λογότυπα των κύβων για να είστε σίγουροι.
• Όσο διαγωνίζεστε και αφού έχετε παραδώσει τον κύβο σας για μπλέξιμο, θα πρέπει να είστε αναγκαστικά στον χώρο διαγωνιζόμενων και να μην φεύγετε από εκεί μέχρι να ολοκληρώσετε τις λύσεις σας.
• Δεν επιτρέπεται να μιλάμε για τα μπλεξίματα ή τις λύσεις μας μέχρι την ολοκλήρωση του γύρου (κανονισμός 2g3 )
• Κατά την επίλυση με κλειστά μάτια πρέπει ο χώρος να έχει απόλυτη ησυχία.
• Απαγορεύονται τα φλας. Δυσκολεύουν πολύ τις λύσεις.
• Εάν είστε θεατής, παρακαλώ να είστε πάντα 1.5 μέτρο μακριά από τους διαγωνιζόμενους (κανονισμός 7b). Εάν θέλετε να τραβήξετε κάποιον που λύνει, παρακαλώ κάντε το από τον χώρο του κοινού.
• Σεβόμαστε τον χώρο που φιλοξενεί τον διαγωνισμό, πετάμε τα σκουπίδια σε κάδους και εάν προκύψει κάποια ζημιά ενημερώνουμε άμεσα τους διοργανωτές.
• Προσέχουμε τα παζλ μας. Όλοι θα έρθουν σε αυτόν τον χώρο με πολλά παζλ, είναι απίστευτα εύκολο να χαθεί κάποιο παζλ, οπότε να είστε προσεκτικοί.
• Θα τραβηχτούν φωτογραφίες και βίντεο από τον διαγωνισμό και από άλλους διαγωνιζόμενους και από την διοργάνωση, για social media, site κλπ. Ερχόμενοι στον διαγωνισμό αποδέχεσθε πως δεν έχετε πρόβλημα να είστε και εσείς σε τέτοιες φωτογραφίες ή βίντεο.

New Competitor Information

If you are a new competitor, it is important that you are familiar with the Regulations. The regulations are very long and are quite a lot to take in so don't worry if you don't remember it all! Because of this, we have a video that explains the competing procedure which we recommend to watch before attending: Competing Tutorial. We will also be holding an introduction to competing as per the Schedule which we recommend you attend as well.

New competitors must bring some form of ID to show at the competition to confirm the name, the country they wish to compete for, and the date of birth registered with. The usual items of ID that people bring are Passports, Birth Certificates, Driver's Licenses, etc. As long as it has your name, date of birth, and country, then it will be fine.

Information for All Competitors

• Please help judge! As a competitor, your judging assignments are the absolute minimum you should be doing to help out. As second rounds, third rounds and finals have no assigned judges, we really need people to help out whenever available for these. If you are directly asked to judge, please go and judge for the remainder of the round in progress. If you do not comply then we are within our rights to disqualify you from the competition as per Regulation 1e2. If you're a parent you can also get involved with running and juging, it's really easy!
• Please note that Carbon-Fiber puzzles are not permitted, and please make sure your cube complies with logo regulations!
• When you are competing and have handed in your puzzle, please make sure to be waiting in the designated area so that judges and runners do not have to come searching for you.
• Please DO NOT talk about the scrambles or your solutions whilst the round is in progress as per Regulation 2g3.
• During blindfolded events, please stay silent within the venue. These events require a high amount of concentration and any noise can be distracting. We will announce when the silence will begin and when you may talk within the venue again.
• No flash photography under any circumstance within the venue. It is extremely distracting for competitors.
• If you are a spectator, please stay 1.5m away from competitors at all times as per Regulation 7b. If you are filming someone competing, please stay out of the competitor area.
• Please treat the venue with respect, put all of your rubbish in bins, black bin bags, or take it home with you and keep your area tidy.
• There are thousands of puzzles at these events, make sure to keep yours together so you don't lose them! Keeping them in a bag and looking after it at all times is recommended.
• We will be taking videos and photographs of the competition and the environment for our social media pages and website. By attending the competition as a competitor or a guest, you are accepting that you may be filmed or photographed for these purposes.

Ο διαγωνισμός έχει κόστος συμμετοχής 20,00€ για την κάλυψη μέρους των εξόδων του. Για να θεωρείται έγκυρη μία εγγραφή θα πρέπει να ολοκληρωθεί και τα δύο παρακάτω βήματα:
1. Να έχει ολοκληρωθεί η διαδικασία εγγραφής στον διαγωνισμό
2. Να έχει ολοκληρωθεί και η πληρωμή του κόστους συμμετοχής χρησιμοποιώντας την τραπεζική σας κάρτα στο σχετικό πεδίο (χρησιμοποιείται η πλατφόρμα πληρωμών stripe).

Επιστροφές χρημάτων δεν γίνονται για κανέναν λόγο μετά τη λήξη των εγγραφών ακόμα και αν ο διαγωνιζόμενος ακυρώσει τη συμμετοχή του για οποιοδήποτε λόγο.

Οι διοργανωτές διατηρούν το δικαίωμα ακύρωσης μιας αίτησης συμμετοχής χωρίς προειδοποίηση και χωρίς δικαίωμα αξιώσεων από τους υποψηφίους συμμετέχοντες προς τους διοργανωτές ή/και την WCA αν δεν τηρηθεί οτιδήποτε από τα παραπάνω.

The contest has a participation fee of 20.00€, to cover part of its expenses. An entry will only be considered valid when both steps below are completed:
1.Registration for the competition on the wca website
2. Successful payment of the competition entry fee

Refunds are not given for any reason after registration ends even if the contestant cancels their participation for any reason.
The organizers reserve the right to cancel an entry application without notice and without right of claim by the prospective participants to the organizers and/or the WCA if any of the above is not observed.

Με ποιον κύβο συμμετέχω;

Κάθε διαγωνιζόμενος φέρνει τα δικά του παζλ, τα οποία πρέπει να είναι σε καλή κατάσταση και να έχουν ένα λογοτυπο πάνω τους. Οι κανονισμοί λένε πιο αναλυτικά για το πώς πρέπει να είναι ένας κύβος, εάν έχετε απορία, παρακαλώ συμβουλευτείτε τους.

Χρειάζομαι λογαριασμό στο stripe για να πληρώσω;

Όχι, δεν απαιτείται λογαριασμός για την πληρωμή. Μόλις κάνετε την εγγραφή στο ίδιο tab εμφανίζονται τα πεδία συμπλήρωσης των στοιχείων της κάρτας για την πληρωμή του αντιτίμου της συμμετοχής.

Είναι ο πρώτος μου διαγωνισμός. Ποιον μπορώ να ρωτήσω για να με βοηθήσει;

Όλοι οι παλιοί διαγωνιζόμενοι αλλά και το προσωπικό της διοργάνωσης και οι εκπρόσωποι της WCA θα χαρούν να βοηθήσουν. Όσοι έχουν καρτελάκι διαγωνισμού κρεμασμένο στον λαιμό τους, είτε έχουν τις ίδιες απορίες, είτε ξέρουν την απάντηση. Μην διστάσετε να τους ρωτήσετε ότι σας απασχολεί.

Έχασα τον κύβο μου στον διαγωνισμό. Τι μπορεί να γίνει;

Ελάτε να ενημερώσετε για την απώλεια μπροστά στα γραφεία των διοργανωτών ή των delegates της WCA. Δεν υπάρχει καμία εγγύηση πως το παζλ θα βρεθεί, μπορεί όμως κάποιος να το έχει βρει και να μας το έχει παραδόσει. Είναι αποκλειστικά δική σας ευθύνη το να μην χάσετε τα παζλ σας.

Βρήκα ένα παζλ και νομίζω πως ξέρω σε ποιον ανήκει, να του το δώσω απευθείας;

Όχι, όποτε βρίσκετε ένα παζλ που δεν ξέρετε σε ποιον ανήκει πρέπει να το παραδόσετε σε εκπσόσωπο της WCA ή της διοργάνωσης του διαγωνισμού και στην συνέχεια να ενημερώσετε και το άτομο που νομίζετε πως του ανήκει.

Δεν ξέρω πού πρέπει να πάω ή τι να κάνω.

Ρωτήστε κάποιον άλλο διαγωνιζόμενο, αλλιώς σηκώστε το χέρι σας και ένας εκπρόσωπος της ομοσπονδίας θα έρθει να σας βοηθήσει.

"Which cube do I participate with?"

Each competitor brings their own puzzles, which should be in good condition and have a logo on them. The regulations provide more detailed information on how a cube should be. If you have any questions, please consult them.

"Do I need a Stripe account to pay?"

No, a Stripe account is not required for payment.

"Where can I find the competition rules?"

You can find the competition rules at https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/regulations/.

"It's my first competition. Whom can I ask for help?"

All experienced competitors will be happy to help. Those with competition badges hanging around their necks, either have the same questions or know the answers. Don't hesitate to ask them anything that concerns you.

"I lost my cube at the competition. What can be done?"

Come and report the loss immediately. There is no guarantee that the puzzle will be found, but someone might have found it and turned it in. It is solely your responsibility not to lose your puzzles.

"I found a puzzle, and I think I know who it belongs to, should I give it to them directly?"

No, whenever you find a puzzle and don't know its owner, you should hand it to a WCA representative, and then inform the person you believe it belongs to.

"I don't know where to go or what to do."

Ask another competitor, or simply raise your hand, and a WCA representative will come to assist you.
