Aktuella restriktioner (uppdaterad 3:e februari)

Regeringen har nu meddelat att alla restriktioner släpps från den 9:e februari, så vi räknar med att kunna genomföra tävlingen som planerat utan större restriktioner!
Sedan tidigare sänktes gränsen för antalet deltagare till 125 tävlande, detta har nu höjts till 150 personer.

Skulle tävlingen ändå behöva ställas in så kommer anmälningsavgifter att återbetalas, men tänk på att boka återbetalningsbara resor och boenden, då vi inte kan hjälpa till med dessa kostnader.

COVID-19

Current restrictions (updated February 3:rd)

The government has now announced that all restrictions will be lifted from February 9:th, so we expect to be able to hold the competition as planned without major restrictions!
The limit for the number of participants was previously lowered to 125 competitors, this has now been increased to 150 competitors.

Should the competition have to be cancelled anyways, registration fees will be refunded, but please remember to book refundable travel and accommodation, as we cannot help with these costs.

SveKub

För att ta del av tävlingsrabatten är det bara att vara registrerad i SveKubs medlemsregister, sedan anmäler du dig som vanligt. Vi verifierar sedan vilka av de anmälda som är medlemmar och inte. Du betalar till att börja med fullt pris, men vi återbetalar 25% i samband med att anmälan granskas (godkänns eller sätts på väntelistan). I framtiden hoppas vi kunna ha ett något smidigare system, men anmälningssystemet kan i dagsläget inte hantera olika anmälningsavgifter för olika personer.

SveKub

This competition is organized together with Svenska Kubförbundet - SveKub.

As a member of SveKub, you always have a 25% discount on Swedish competitions, up to 10% discount on train travel with SJ and discounts on hotels at Scandic and Nordic Choice Hotels. The membership is free, but is only available for Swedish citizens.

To recieve the competition discount, you simply need to be registered as a SveKub member. After that, you register as normal and we will verify which competitors are members and which are not. You will pay the full price to begin with, but we will refund 25% when reviewing the registration (approving it or moving it to the waiting list). In the future, we hope to have a slightly more convenient system, but the current registration system can not handle different registration fees for different people.

Viktig info

Alla tävande ska ha läst WCA regulations. Deltagare förväntas känna till WCAs reglemente innan man deltar på en officiell tävling. Vi kommer innan 2x2x2 på lördagen ha en deltagarintroduktion för nya deltagare där vi går igenom hur det går till när man tävlar på en officiell WCA-tävling. Vill man redan nu få bättre koll på hur tävlingsproceduren går till, kolla då gärna denna video som visar detta på ett bra sätt. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.

Du måste vara anmäld till tävlingen online för att få tävla! Du kan anmäla dig här.

Alla nya tävlande bör ha med ett giltigt ID. För att få tävla som ny deltagare måste du kunna identifiera dig själv och visa att den information du gav oss när du registrerade dig för den här tävlingen är korrekt. Ett pass är ett bra exempel på ett giltigt ID eftersom det visar all nödvändig information, såsom namn, nationalitet och födelsedatum. Om den tävlande är ung och inte har ett eget ID kan en vårdnadshavare verifiera att uppgifterna stämmer.

Du måste vara redo att tävla när din grupp startar Du behöver vara på plats i lokalen under de grenar där du planerar att delta. Du behöver dock vara på plats i lokalen senast 20 minuter innan din första gren ska börja, så du hinner fullfölja registreringen. Vi rekommenderar dock alltid att ni är på plats i lokalen minst 20 minuter innan er nästa gren, då schemat kan variera något jämfört med vad som först var planerat.

Fotografering med blixt är förbjudet i hela lokalen! Blixtar är störande för tävlande. Fotografering utan blixt är tillåtet.

Publik måste befinna sig 1,5 meter ifrån tävlingsstationerna och tävlingsområdet Annars finns risken att man stör andra tävlande eller tävlingsproceduren.

Man får inte prata om blandningarna innan man tävlat färdigt i pågående gren Annars finns risken att man blir diskvalificerad.

Håll koll på er mejl Några dagar innan tävlingen kommer ni få ett deltagarmejl där vi kommer ta upp diverse viktig information för deltagare att känna till. I detta mejl kommer också eventuella ändringar sedan tävlingen annonserades tas upp. Om det finns annan information som vi snabbt måste kommunicera till deltagare så kommer detta också ske via mejl, därför är det viktigt att ni håller koll på er mejl regelbundet.

Important info

All competitors must have read the WCA regulations. Participants are expected to know WCA's regulations before attending an official competition. We will have a competitor tutorial for new participants before 2x2x2 on Saturday, where we will show how to compete in an official WCA competition. If you want to get a better idea of how the competition works already, please check this video which will show you this. Reading through this guide. is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

You must be registered for this competetiton online in order to compete! You can register here.

All new competitors should bring a valid ID. To be allowed to compete as a new competitor, you need to be able to identify yourself and the information you provided us when you registred for this competition. A passport is a good example of a valid ID since it shows all necessary information, such as name, nationality and date of birth. If the competitor is young and does not have an ID, a parent or guardian can confirm that the information is correct instead.

You must be ready to compete when your group starts. You need to be present at the venue during the events in which you plan to attend. However, you need to be present at the venue no later than 20 minutes before your first event starts so that you have enough time to complete the registration. It is however always recommended to be at the venue at least 20 minutes before your next event, since the schedule may differ slightly from what was previously announced.

No flash photography in the entire venue! Flash is distracting to the competitors. Pictures without the use of flash are allowed.

Spectators should remain 1,5 meters away from the solving stations and the competition area. Otherwise, you might distract other competitors or disrupt the competition flow.

You are not allowed to talk about the scrambles until the round is done Otherwise, you might get disqualified.

Check your e-mail A few days before the competition, you will receive a participant email where we will address various important information for participants to know. This email will also include any changes made since the competition was announced. If there is any other urgent information which we need to communicate to competitors, then it will be done through e-mail so therefore it is important that you check your e-mail regularly.

Nya tävlande

Om det här är din första WCA-tävling, välkommen! Det är viktigt att du läser igenom alla flikar här på sidan, eftersom det finns mycket viktig information där.

Om du aldrig tävlat förut bör du ha med ett giltigt ID, till exempel ett pass eller körkort. Detta är en rekommenderad policy för att se till att er personliga information blir korrekt. Om du inte har ett ID-kort kan en förälder eller vårdnadshavare bekräfta informationen.

Den här videon demonstrerar hur det går till att lösa i tävling. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare. Notera dock att tävlingsprocessen ser något annorlunda ut den här gången, läs mer om det under fliken "COVID-19". Det är också viktigt att du läser igenom WCA-reglerna så du får en bättre förståelse för vilka olika tidsstraff du kan få på lösningarna, och hur du undviker dem. Du är såklart mycket välkommen att ställa frågor om saker som dyker upp under tävlingen!

Kom ihåg att du bara behöver vara i lokalen när du har någon gren att tävla i, men eftersom schemat kan ändras något under tävlingen rekommenderar vi att du är där minst 15 minuter innan din första gren.

Under hela tävlingen kommer du kunna se live-resultat från WCA live, där kan du se vilka resultat du fick, och ifall du gick vidare till nästa runda.

New competitors

If this is your first WCA competition, welcome! Make sure to read through all tabs above as there is a lot of important information there.

If you've never competed before, you should to bring a valid ID, for example a passport or driver's license. This is a recommended policy to make sure your personal information is correct. If you do not have an ID, a parent or guardian can confirm the information.

This video demonstrates how solving in a competition works. Reading through this guide is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know. Do note however, that the competing process looks a little different this time, read more about this under the "COVID-19" tab. It is also important that you read through the WCA Regulations so that you are aware of different penalties and how to avoid them. You are of course more than welcome to ask us questions during the competition!

Remember that you only need to be at the venue when you have an event to compete in, but since the schedule might change slightly throughout the competition, we recommend showing up at least 15 minutes before your first event.

Throughout the competition, you will be able to see live results from WCA live, and there you can see what results you got and whether or not you proceeded to the next round.

Resa

Med bil: Adressen är Stationsgatan 24, Huskvarna, vilket är precis intill E4. Lokalen har gratis parkering för alla besökare.

Med tåg: Folkets Park ligger precis intill Huskvarna station, tågbiljetter kan bokas via www.sj.se

Med buss:
Bussbiljetter till Jönköping kan bokas via sidor som till exempel Flixbus.
Från Jönköping Resecentrum har du två val för att ta dig till lokalen:

• Ta stadsbussen, linje 1, från Juneporten till Sandagymnasiet, därifrån går du cirka 300 meter till Folkets Park.
• Ta tåget från Jönköping Resecentrum till Huskvarna Station, sedan går du ungefär 100 meter till Folkets Park.

Tider och biljetter för lokala bussar och tåg hittar du på Jönköpings Länstrafik.

Travel

By car: The address of the venue is Stationsgatan 24, Huskvarna, which is right by the E4. The venue has free parking for all visitors.

By train: Folkets Park is located right next to Huskvarna Station, train tickets can be booked at www.sj.se

By bus:
Bus tickets to Jönköping can be booked at sites such as Flixbus.
From Jönköping Resecentrum you have two options to get to the venue:

• Take local bus route 1 from Juneporten to Sandagymnasiet, then walk approximately 300 meters to Folkets Park.
• Take the train from Jönköping Resecentrum to Huskvarna Station, walk 100 meters to Folkets Park

Times and tickets for local buses and trains can be found at Jönköpings Länstrafik.

Golvförläggning

Huskvarna Folkets Park har tillåtit oss att sova på golvet i tävlingslokalen natten mellan lördag och söndag. Att övernatta i lokalen är gratis.
Kom ihåg att ta med dig det du behöver för natten, såsom kudde, sovsäck och något mjukt att ligga på, till exempel en luftmadrass. Vi kommer inte stå för något av det.
Vi kommer inte servera någon frukost, och kan inte lova att det finns tillgång till dusch.

Hotell

Om du inte vill sova i lokalen finns det en del hotell och vandrarhem i Huskvarna, och i Jönköping som är väldigt nära. Du kan hitta och jämföra olika hotell på sidor som till exempel booking.com.

Floor accommodation

Huskvarna Folkets Park have allowed us to sleep on the floor of the competition venue the night between Saturday and Sunday. Sleeping in the venue is free of charge.
Remember to bring what you need for the night, such as a pillow, sleeping bag, and something soft to lie on, such as an air mattress. We will not be provide any of this.
We will not provide any breakfast, and cannot promise that showers will be available.

Hotels

If you don't want to sleep at the venue there are a few hotels and hostels in Huskvarna, and in Jönköping which is very close by. You can find and compare different hotels through sites such as Booking.com.

Under tävlingen kan ni se liveresultat på WCA Live.
Det är också där du kan se dina egna tider och om du gick vidare till nästa omgång eller inte.
