Registration

You can register for this competition here. We will not accept any registrations on the spot.

The registration is not considered complete until you have paid the registration fee of 150 SEK. Payment is done through the WCA website, this will show up automatically right after you register.
If your name doesn't appear on the competitor list 24 hours after paying, contact one of the organizers. (Contact information under the "General info" tab.)

If you have registered but then can't go to the competition, please send an e-mail telling us this as that will leave your spot for somebody else, and you will also get a refund of 50% of the registration fee as long as it's done before January 18th.

Registration will close January 18th, or when the competitor limit of 120 people is reached.

Anmälan

You must be registered for this competetiton online in order to compete! You can register here.

All new competitors must bring a valid ID. To be allowed to compete as a new competitor, you need to be able to identify yourself and the information you provided us when you registred for this competition. A passport is a good example of a valid ID since it shows all necessary information, such as name, nationality and date of birth.

No flash photography in the entire venue! Flash is distracting to the competitors. Pictures without the use of flash are allowed.

Important information for competitors in 6x6x6 and 7x7x7 - competitors must know how to scramble using WCA notation. We are going to apply a different approach in organising these events at this competition. Simplyfied, all competitors in these events will be paired together two and two, scramble for eachother in the pair and do their attempts at the same time. This will effectively make us run 6x6x6 and 7x7x7 in one group only, saving us a considerable amount of time. More detailed information about this system will be provided before the competition and during the startup of these events. For us to manage this, everyone who registers in these events must know how to scramble a 6x6x6 / 7x7x7 according to WCA notation. Please practise this at home before the competition to help us run the competition better. If you absolutely can´t scramble a 6x6x6 / 7x7x7 according to WCA notation, please contact the organisation team before the competition so we can plan accordingly.

6x6x6 and 7x7x7 finalists cannot make a second Multi-blind attempt. The second Multi-blind attempt is held at the same time as the finals of 6x6x6 and 7x7x7. You can compete in both events, but if you advance to the final in 6x6x6 or 7x7x7, you will have to choose whether you want participate in the finals or do your second Multi-blind attempt.

Du måste vara anmäld till tävlingen online för att få tävla! Du kan anmäla dig här.

Alla nya tävlande måste ha med ett giltigt ID. För att få tävla som ny deltagare måste du kunna identifiera dig själv och visa att den information du gav oss när du registrerade dig för den här tävlingen är korrekt. Ett pass är ett bra exempel på ett giltigt ID eftersom det visar all nödvändig information, såsom namn, nationalitet och födelsedatum.

Fotografering med blixt är förbjudet i hela lokalen! Blixtar är störande för tävlande. Foto utan blixt är tillåtet.

Viktig information för tävlande i 6x6x6 och 7x7x7 - Tävlande måste kunna blanda efter WCA-notation. Vi kommer använda ett annorlunda sätt att arrangera dessa grenar vid denna tävling. Förenklat så kommer alla deltagare i dessa grenar bli ihopparade ihop två och två, blanda för varandra inom paret och gör sina försök samtidigt. Detta låter oss genomföra 6x6x6 och 7x7x7 som om det vore en grupp, vilket sparar mycket tid. Mer detaljerad information om detta system kommer att ges före tävlingen och under starten av dessa grenar. För att vi ska kunna genomföra detta måste alla som registrerar sig i dessa grenar veta hur man blandar en 6x6x6 / 7x7x7 enligt WCA-notationen. Vi ber er träna detta hemma innan tävlingen så hjälper ni oss att arrangera dessa grenar mer effektivt. Om du verkligen inte kan blanda en 6x6x6 / 7x7x7 enligt WCA-notationen, vänligen kontakta arrangörsteamet före tävlingen så att vi kan planera efter det.

Finalister i 6x6x6 och 7x7x7 kan inte göra ett andra försök i Multi-blind. Det andra försöket i Multi-blind hålls samtidigt som finalerna i 6x6x6 och 7x7x7. Man kan tävla i båda grenarna, men går man vidare till final i 6x6x6 eller 7x7x7 måste man välja om man vill delta i finalen eller göra sitt andra försök i Multi-blind.

New competitors

If this is your first WCA competition, welcome! This will be a relatively standard Swedish competition and there shouldn't be much to worry about.
Make sure to read through all tabs above as there is a lot of important information there.
If you've never competed before, you need to bring a valid ID, for example a passport or driver's licence.

We will have a demonstration showing how the competing process works after lunch on Saturday, but we highly recommend watching this video to get a good understanding of how solving in competition works.

It is also important that you read through the WCA Regulations so that you are aware of different penalties and how to avoid them.

Remember that you only need to be at the venue when you have an event to compete in, but since the schedule might change slightly throughout the competition, we recommend showing up at least 20 minutes before your first event.
Throughout the competition, you will be able to see live results from Cubecomps.com, and there you can see what results you got and whether or not you proceeded to the next round.

Nya tävlande

Om det här är din första WCA-tävling, välkommen! Detta kommer vara en ganska vanlig svensk tävling och du behöver inte oroa dig över så mycket.
Det är viktigt att du läser igenom alla flikar här på sidan, eftersom det finns mycket viktig information där.
Om du aldrig tävlat förut måste du ha med ett giltigt ID, till exempel ett pass eller körkort.

Efter lunchen på lördagen kommer vi demonstrera hur det går till att tävla, men vi rekommenderar starkt att du även kollar på den här videon så du bättre förstår hur det går till att lösa i tävling.

Det är också viktigt att du läser igenom WCA-reglerna så du får en bättre förståelse för vilka olika tidsstraff du kan få på lösningarna, och hur du undviker dem.

Kom ihåg att du bara behöver vara i lokalen när du har någon gren att tävla i, men eftersom schemat kan ändras något under tävlingen rekommenderar vi att du är där minst 20 minuter innan din första gren.
Under hela tävlingen kommer du kunna se live-resultat från Cubecomps.com, där kan du se vilka resultat du fick, och ifall du gick vidare till nästa runda.

Floor accommodation

Huskvarna Folkets Park have allowed us to sleep on the floor at the venue over night between Saturday and Sunday. Sleeping at the venue is free of charge, but you need to email viktor.zenk@gmail.com and book a spot. Include your name and the number of people you want to book a spot for.
Remember to bring your sleeping stuff, such as pillow, sleeping bag, and something soft to lay on, for example an air mattress. We will not provide any of this.
There are no showers available at the venue and we will not provide any breakfast.

Hotels

If you don't want to sleep at the venue there are a few hotels and hostels in Huskvarna, and in Jönköping which is very close by. You can find and compare different hotels through sites such as Booking.com.

Golvförläggning

Huskvarna folkets park har tillåtit oss att sova i lokalen natten mellan lördag och söndag. Att sova i lokalen är gratis, men du måste boka det genom att maila viktor.zenk@gmail.com. Inkludera ditt namn och hur många du vill boka plats för.
Kom ihåg att ta med dig dina sovgrejer, som kudde, sovsäck och något mjukt att ligga på, till exempel en luftmadrass. Vi kommer inte stå för något av det.
Det finns inga duschar i lokalen och vi kommer inte servera någon frukost.

Hotell

Om du inte vill sova i lokalen finns det en del hotell och vandrarhem i Huskvarna, och i Jönköping som är väldigt nära. Du kan hitta och jämföra olika hotell på sidor som till exempel booking.com.

Food

There are many restaurants in the city of Huskvarna, but the closest one by far is "Pizzeria Majstången" which is 150 meters from the venue.
The closest grocery store is "ICA Kvantum Huskvarna", about a 15 minute walk from the venue. We will not sell any food at the venue. There is also a candy shop called "Turbutiken" just across the road.

Mat

Det finns flera restauranger i Huskvarna, men den klart närmaste är "Pizzeria Majstången", som ligger 150 meter från lokalen.
Den närmaste mataffären är "ICA Kvantum Huskvarna", ungefär en kvarts promenad från lokalen. Vi kommer inte sälja någon mat i lokalen. Det finns även en godisbutik som heter "Turbutiken" precis över vägen.

Travel

By car

The address of the venue is Stationsgatan 24, Huskvarna, which is right by the E4. The venue has free parking for all visitors.

By train

Folkets Park is located right next to Huskvarna Station, train tickets can be booked at www.sj.se

By bus

Bus tickets to Jönköping can be booked at sites such as Flixbus.
From Jönköping Resecentrum you have two options to get to the venue:

• Take local bus route 1 from Juneporten to Sandagymnasiet, then walk approximately 300 meters to Folkets Park.
• Take the train from Jönköping Resecentrum to Huskvarna Station, walk 100 meters to Folkets Park

Times and tickets for local buses and trains can be found at Jönköpings Länstrafik.

Resa

Med bil

Adressen är Stationsgatan 24, Huskvarna, vilket är precis intill E4. Lokalen har gratis parkering för alla besökare.

Med tåg

Folkets Park ligger precis intill Huskvarna station, tågbiljetter kan bokas via www.sj.se

Med buss

Bussbiljetter till Jönköping kan bokas via sidor som till exempel Flixbus.
Från Jönköping Resecentrum har du två val för att ta dig till lokalen:

• Ta stadsbussen, linje 1, från Juneporten till Sandagymnasiet, därifrån går du cirka 300 meter till Folkets Park.
• Ta tåget från Jönköping Resecentrum till Huskvarna Station, sedan går du ungefär 100 meter till Folkets Park.
