The registration fee for pre-registered pre-paid competitors is $10 for the first event plus $2 for each additional event. If you do not pre-pay, the registration fee will be $20 and you will be limited to the 3x3x3 speedsolve event only. Please note that $1 from every competitor will go back to the WCA. If you do not pre-register, you will not be on the guest list and will have to pay to get into the science center in addition to the registration fee. If you would like to explore the venue, you must purchase admission to the science center. Spectators must purchase admission to the venue.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
