We will be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 96 hours prior to the start of the competition.
This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors must be familiar with the WCA regulations. If you are new to competing, please refer to the Competition Procedures tab.

There is a competitor limit of 60 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $30 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .

No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Only one guest will be permitted per competitor. Please indicate if you will be bringing a guest in registration.

For First-Time Competitors
All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. This video gives a basic overview of the rules.
In addition, please read this tutorial document before coming to the competition.
For All Competitors
When you arrive, you will receive a card with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also have judging/scrambling assignments on your card. Every competitor is expected to help out during the event(s) they are registered for. The card will look like the following:
If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.
All attendees (competitors + guests) must show valid proof of at least one of the following two requirements to be allowed in the venue:
1) They are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. To clarify, an individual is only considered fully vaccinated if they have received their second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) , or their only dose of a single-dose vaccine (J&J) along with their booster shot more than two weeks before the competition. Any dose received after Saturday October 1st is insufficient for entrance to the competition.
OR
2) They tested negative for COVID-19 within 96 hours (4 days) of the competition. The date when the test is conducted is what matters, not the date when the results are received. Any test conducted later than Tuesday October 11th is insufficient for entrance to the competition. RAPID/ At-Home tests are permitted either with a dated photo, or the physical test.
Along with a full vaccination or negative test document, a valid ID or other offical document of identification (if you do not have this please fill out the contact form letting the organizer/delegate know) must be shown and checked at the registration desk on the day of the competition. Any proof sent electronically to the organizers and/or delegates prior to the competition will not be accepted.
Competitors may bring at most one guest.
Masks will not be required at this competition, but they are strongly recommended.
Attendees should maintain a minimum of 3 feet from others whenever possible.
If you have symptoms related to COVID-19 such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, etc. do not attend this competition.
If you have had a positive COVID-19 test or prolonged exposure to someone with the virus within 10 days prior to the competition, do not attend.
The competition may be canceled if the COVID-19 situation in Maine and/or the US gets worse.
By registering for this competition, you agree that you understand all the information presented in this tab, will abide by all the COVID-19 restrictions placed on this competition, and acknowledge the risk of contracting COVID-19 or any other disease in attending an event of this scale.

Please try to park in the town hall parking lot, Other parking includes the rest of the parking lot, and the community school across the street. DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE LIBRARY.
Lunch will not be provided at this competition. These are some of the lunch options (restaurants, grocery stores, etc) within 10 minutes driving distance where you can grab some food during the lunch period.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
