Important Information
-All competitors must have read the WCA regulations. Participants are expected to know WCA regulations before attending an official competition. We will have a competitor tutorial for new participants on Saturday morning before the first event begins, where we will show how to compete in an official WCA competition. If you want to get a better idea of how the competition works already, please check this video which will show you this. Reading through this guide. is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.
-Check your e-mail a week before the competition, you will receive pre-competition email where we will address various important information for participants to know. This email will also include any changes made since the competition was announced. If there is any other urgent information which we need to communicate to competitors, then it will be done through e-mail so therefore it is important that you check your e-mail regularly.
-You must be ready to compete when your group starts. You need to be present at the venue during the events in which you plan to attend. However, you need to be present at the venue an hour before your first event starts so that you have enough time to complete the registration. It is however always recommended to be at the venue at least 60 minutes before your next event, since the schedule may differ slightly from what was previously announced.

Pre-Competition

Tutorial for new competitors
We will have a demonstration showing how the competing process works on Saturday morning before the first event begins, but we highly recommend watching this video to get a good understanding of how solving in competition works. Reading through this guide is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.
It is also important that you read through the WCA Regulations so that you are aware and familiar with the lastest WCA Regulations.
Remember that you only need to be at the venue when you have an event to compete in, but since the schedule might change slightly throughout the competition, we recommend showing up at least an hour before your first event.
Throughout the competition, you will be able to see live results from Cubecomps.com, and there you can see what results you got and whether or not you proceeded to the next round.
If you have any questions, feel free to email one of the organizers, we're happy to help!
Each event is run in groups, depending on how many people are competing in the event depends on how many groups there are. We call each group up one at a time in order to complete their solves during the scheduled time for the round. We have software that automatically picks what groups you are in and who scrambles for each group. This is the minimum amount you should be helping out as it only is for first rounds. We always appreciate extra help!
Please note down which groups you are competing and scrambling in before arriving at the competition!
Grouping Summary list will be published a week before competition, so stay tuned for the update!
Throughout the competition, live results will be uploaded continuously through Cubecomps . A specific live results link for the Merdeka Mind Games 2019 will appear here.
